When you're a master vocalist, you can sing any song of any artist in almost any style and even have capabilities of doing it better. If you don't do it better than the original that was performed by an artist but not a vocalist, then you are not a vocalist. Plus when a singer/artist sounds better live than in studio means that is a vocalist. Now Angelina is a masterclass vocalist here covering a song from Lana Del Rey that has a deep voice, that didn't stop her from doing it better. You'll have already read that the mic was a birthday gift and It is certainly a very nice one but, since we now know she sounds great even on a cheap cellphone mic, whoever gave it to her might be regretting wasting their money.

The family just moved there.... it was a good buy, its very sensitive and will pick up anything, including any mistakes with breathing or words etc. not many people would dare sing into it. But AJ loves it and knows exactly how to get what she wants out of it..... She even sang into the back of it to get a different sound... { I`d Rather Go Blind , by Etta James }.

Watching her hands, her arms and her eyes you see she is in the zone. The deep tones and the highs contrasting is amazing. I had not heard the original either and when she kicks in it is mesmerizing. Angelina has taken these popular songs (not what I listen to) and makes them extraordinary. And when I listen to the originals, they sound flat and dull after she kills it.
I personally think that some of Angelina’s best songs were sung when she was ten through twelve years old. There’s just something special about all of them during that age. Love your enthusiasm for Angelina!

If I remember correctly, one of Angelina's "Angels" reduced the opacity of the pop filter so that her lips could be seen and uploaded the video for all of to see.

But keep in mind that she is not a jazz singer and therefore when it comes to singing a heartfelt ballad, there is no way she can match the emotion laden penetration that a 'Jazz' singer is able to do, and especially one who is on a level like that of Billie Holiday, who is Angelina's true musical mentor.
