Nicely done! But a couple suggestions.....why not weld to the frame, mounting tabs for the pivot side of the carrier as you did with the striker side? That would remove the bulky bar clamp assembly and make for a ultra clean install!! Secondly, instead of a webbed strap holding the tire down, why not 2-3 studs coming up from the base of the carrier through the lug holes? Kinda like a carrier would be on the back of a Jeep Wrangler and use lug nuts to hold down. Nothing to adjust, come loose, fray. or age out like a strap.
This looks like it obstructs the chase light. I see two other comments concerning this. Why no answer from Polaris?
Is the chase light blocked by the tire? Can you actually see the lights? I want to install both, but I have this question.
Are you going to make a different mounting point for the chase light. It looks like the spare tire blocks the view of the Chinese chase light.
Hi. Does polaris make an intrusion bar kit for the cage?
Will this be compatible with the Polaris front storage trunk and Polaris rear cooler?
Hi Matt - Yes! Both will fit with the spare tire rack installed.
Is this for stock cages only?
Will this fit a 35" tire?
Nicely done!
