    Just a question. Are your laying hens wings clipped before you put them into your egg mobiles?

    I don’t think that egg Mobile would work in my area. I think the wind would blow it over.have your units ever blown over ?

    What specific breed of laying hens are these?

    They are such courageous beings. After spending their entire lives indoors, to venture out into the open must be very frightening - no roof, no walls, strange noises, yet they brave it - eventually.
    Happy weekend.

      Yes, amazing to watch. They all came out when we opened up this morning, mostly still under the egg-mobile

    If you'd have ran those boards in the other direction taping and mudding would have been easier.

    Where did you get your broiler feeding regiment from?

    • @regenerativeagriculture
      @regenerativeagriculture  7 років тому +2

      We researched industry standards, other pastured poultry folks work and looked at the feed components we have available to us and made up our own. We've tried various adaptations to arrive at something that seems to work well

    What brand of electric fence do you have?

    • @regenerativeagriculture
      @regenerativeagriculture  7 років тому

      We buy a few different ones, but all the best poultry netting seems to come from Germany. I don't remember the particular supplier of these off the top of my head. Just go for the highest quality you can...
