Appropriate that Man-at-Arms made He-Man's sword.
LOL! I was hoping someone would notice:-)
YES!
Man at arms was He-mans best friend on the cartoon
Maybe he should make the new one
Facts well played
Awsome! A dream come true! Thanks for showing the world such marvelous work! You guys could easily send your resumes to Asguard, and get hired! I am very proud of all of your work! Thanks for the art, miricles, memories, and entertainment!
She-Ra's sword ought to be a next episode! I love how her sword had a jewel in it
Beating the shit out of a car...just like He-Man always did.
just think his work should become a series on the Discovery
Whoa! That is so freaking awesome! Years ago I used to have a plastic toy sword! But never in a million years would I ever expect to see an actual replica of He-Man's sword from the 80s cartoon!
This man really does amazing work. He's blessed with a great talent. Wonder how much it would cost to have a personal blade made..
he said in one of his new videos a sword would cost around 500-1000 dollers
That's actually fairly reasonable.
That is a masterpiece. I have two questions: how much does a masterpiece like that cost, and would you make another one to sell?
Before people keep saying that the sword is inaccurate, keep in mind that the sword itself has changed in design over the years. The filmation cartoon, the original toy, the mini comics, all of them had there own design. All in all, this sword is actually really true to how the power sword looks. The more you know.
So amazing. The Sword of Omens was more intricate but this is my sentimental all-time favorite sword and I can't believe how great this looks compared to the Filmation version. Since there were several different looks for the sword before the Filmation version became the standard, perhaps we can see a variant based on the original mini-comics drawn by Alfredo Alcala?
when are you guys gona make the soul edge sword?.... the eye moving mechanism will be the most challenging thing you'll ever pull off imo... maybe do it in a collab with michaelcthulhu (sure you guys have heard of him lol) that would be badass
He-Man is my child hood show and i think this is amazing
same my childhood
By the power of Grayskull... I have the power!
Well put.
Spartan shield from 300!
SPARTAN SHIELD YES !
I think he did it already, it was in hte background of the spartan sword
make a sword from Lord of the Rings Narsil (sind. Narsil) - famous sword in the legendarium of JRR Tolkien. Forged in the First Age dwarf Telharom (Telchar), best gunsmith Nogrod. This dwarf also forged Helm of Hador, who subsequently owned the Turin Turambar and dagger Angrist, owned by Prince Noldor Curufin son of Fëanor, and who later got a trophy Beren.
And I say HEYEYEYEYEY HEYEYEY!!!
+Junjun gets me every time
first thing i came looking for in the comments!
manofthehour1806 god dammit, I knew this was gonna happen
manofthehour1806 LOL
I SAID HEY!
WHAT'S GOING ON?!!
The important thing is, “it will keeeel!” Excellent work sir!
I'd like to see an actual replica of the sword that was used in the movie Excalibur. Every replica I have see doesn't match the movies'.
Rebellion aka Dante's sword from the devil may cry series(1-4)
does anyone know what 4;26 music is called
Jamie Carlson
Darude - Sandstorm
have you tried to recreate the He Man Battle Axe?
Oração para o Caleb parabéns
Tô ligado
Are you from another timeline? My younger brothers used to be super into He-Man and I would watch with them and don't remember a battleaxe.
@@scottwilliams846 from the action figure line. I believe MotU was based on the action figure line that was released before the tv show came out.
Truly the most beautiful sword made on this show and that says a lot.
Could you make a Skeletors one with a rams head on the end of handle
The havoc staff
the CHAOS EATER from DARKSIDERS!!!
yes!
That would be awesome, but the sword would be really huge and heavy. And the sculptures on the blade would be reeaaaally tricky to realise. :/
you call it tricky, i call it a challenge!
Maybe we'll see it one day ^^ Hope, my friends !
im a big fan of your work, i always stay tuned for your next vid. and i gotta say your amazing. but, i would like to challenge your skills. I would even say, "You, Are Not Prepared!" To make Illidan Stormrage's Warglave Of Azzinoth from World Of Warcraft.
I second this! It'd be amazing to see a functional replica of this!
Can you imagine this!... that would be epic but he would need to make 2 :)
I love watching your video's - with your skills making swords especially swords from our childhood (1980's) is fantastic. I would love to see you go on 'Forged in Fire' against David Baker as he is like you - makes swords/weapons for movies/movie props. I think you vs David Baker would be the ULTIMATE challenge.
Yeah
I'm sorry but I've just gotta say it.
HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA!!!
This is what a Power Sword should be!
IMPRESSIVE!
WHY ARE PPL GIVING THUMBS DOWN? id like to see them do a better job
better yet would be nice to give us and explanation about why they dislike this video , i would love to see what kind of idiotic answer they give us
Can't believe I've only just come across this channel.
After the first vid I searched for the He-Man sword and couldn't believe the quality. Nice work.
He needs to make another one, with a blue jewel in the hilt to make the Sword of Protection, She-Ra's Sword.
+Dragon1813 YEAH where the hell is She-Ra's sword???
my sister was looking for "She-mans" sword... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 she said she missed the old days.... 😎🤣🤣🤣
Yes do she-ra's sword of protection too.
can you make that high frequency blade from metal gear solid 4 that raiden used
metalgearinformer.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Metal-Gear-Rising-High-Frequency-Blade-3.jpg
and use some amoled to give the luminescence effect
I would prefer Sam's Muramasa!
Slayerx49 i like you alot. *murasama as its called in the game. but yeah i want that so much
yeah i guess thats good to
By the power of Grayskull!
I HAVE THE POWEEEEERR!!
HE-MAN!
''Fabulous secret power's were revealed 2 me''....
pugilist102 , I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was fun to watch.
And seeing the sword slicing that car was oddly satisfying. 👍🏻🤣
You should do He-Man's Sword from 2002 TV show He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
totally or the new version of the sword of omens
dani patel It's the same as the old one, the sword of Omens is still the same
oh
Brian Quincy Korving hemans sword is not the sword of Omens. That's thunder cats.
I know...
A Shishkebab Sword from Fallout 3!
#Can't Spell!
You guys are awesome. :3 can you do the blades from attack on Titan? Oh and could you guys test the swords out on something other than glass? Like actual stuff that can be cut? Like ballistics gel maybe?
The original sword has existence, is on a museum.
harry potter gryffindor sword
Can you make the sword of Perseus from the original 1982 clash of the titans movie ?
0:42 wtf?
What a horrible mind you have.
Prince Adam
I was waiting for the mantra "I have the poweeeeer!"
lord zedd's cane from the mighty morphins power rangers?
sauron's mace...
Oh look...... They broke The wind shield :D
The guy raised the sword and said: "BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL"........ and nothing happened! LMAO!!!!!!
make Shuusui it's one of Zoro's swords from One Piece. It looks pretty damn cool
Do the Sword of Omens from Thundercats !!! :D
he already did
oh thanks I just subscribed today so I didnt notice! :)
its 2 30 in the morning. After seeing this I realize this will be the most awesome thing I can possibly see and finally turn my computer off and rest
That was awesome. What a great job to have! Hope you're doing well and hanging in there.
How is it you do not work with discovery to make a new tv program?
please no. with all the ads and all. youtube videos are just fine.
Since you've made He-Man's Sword of Power, why not make She-Ra's Sword of Protection?
or even Teela's or Man-at-Arms sword.
Badass depending on what you're selling it for I bet you could make a career out of just making that one sword. Which goes back to the question of the day how much are you selling the thing for? The only problem I have a swordsmith is I want to make it to my specs. I have some ability but I'm not a professional sword Smith. I'm not completely equipped and I don't have all the knowledge that I would like to have for me it's just a hobby I made some things they're good and I'm getting better but I'm not at that level.
Rebellion from Devil May Cry?
Now you guys need to do Skeletor's staff.
Guts' sword from Berserk.
do guts sword, pls!!! want to see your try to use it!!XD probably need 2 people, like cloud's buster sword
So does this mean they have the power?
Yes
thegigmaster jr HE-MAN!!!!!
You know, thinking about it, wearing pink vests and lavender pants was probably great for keeping his secret identity. Who'd expect a metro-sexual to be the most powerful at absolutely anything? Hair products?
Cardboard Box pretty much yeah.
You should have made She-Ra's sword to go with that--being his twin sister and everything. Then you'd have twin swords.
That too~ They should honestly make everything. LOL
***** MYAAAAH
Sakasa Jinei - I don't remember it ever being mentioned in the series, but the He-Man and Skeletor toys both came with one half of the same sword. They both very much looked like this one in the video, but Skeletor's was dark purple. The two snapped together to form one sword. I'd like to see them make that. This pic shows what I'm talking about: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/e3/f8/4c/e3f84cad239c23fa180ef2a2240c0fcd.jpg
Bradley Fortner I had that same sword set as a kid.. Skeletor sword glow in the dark. At least mine did
Sakasa Jinei , you're not wrong about that. I agree.
That was beautiful work of art, and usable to. I love seeing people with skills like that create something wonderful for everyone to see.
Fins cursed grass blade!
We already have 2 adventure time swords if that's what u mean!
Mehrunes Razor from skyrim!
Theodon's sword from LOTR
What a classic piece so amazing
I hope you make She-Ra's sword one day (from the new series)!
That's cool and all, but that is NOT the sword of power. It's look, and design are HIGHLY innaccurate.
correct on that
Yes, it looks real. Not cartoony!
The bottom half of the sword is a closed loop.
Check out michaelcthulhu . He has the best most accurate swords i think.
@@stonedbatman2067 The inaccuracy is not with the cartoony stuff, but with the whole midsection being a wrong design entirely. Michaelcthulu made a far more accurate one even if the other proportions of his sword are a bit out of proportion for a real human.
its funny how they always smash glass with sharp stuff. i can smash glass with a rock. if you have sharp weapons, how bout cutting something, instead of breaking glass. if you wanna break glass, maybe try ramming your skull into it
I agree with you,but it does show a certain ability of the sword. If it was improperly forged it would shatter or chip when thrust into other hard objects. At the same time, a piece of rounded steel can be ground to have a sharp edge and cut as good as a razor.
With that said, I find cutting much more satisfying on video than breaking glass objects.
***** It's production, shattering glass looks cool. Same reason they chop up things full of colorful fluid. Even without a razor sharp edge you can cut all sorts of things. Search for the myth of the samurai sword theres a video of a guy chopping of a tatami with a broad sword just like it as a katana.
Daniel Rezaiekhaligh I am well aware of the capabilities and the reasons in which the videos are produced in the manner that they are.
With that said, I still find cutting to he much more satisfying on video.
About your statement about a broadsword cutting like a katana, that is to be expected in certain types of material. Although the katana is a poor sword, a sharp edge is superior to a blunt edge. All swords (battle ready, not training) had a sharp edge. Some were sharpened in only specific areas, but there is a reason sharp swords were used, because they're superior.
***** Oh, so you just wanted to bitch about them smashing glass even though you know why they're smashing glass. Why do people feel the need to leave idiotic comments? Perhaps you should go hand forge some weapons and make your own videos and then you can preform your own demonstrations the way you want. Make sure you send me the link, but until then shut up and enjoy the free content you can't help but complain about...
Daniel Rezaiekhaligh pounds per square inch. really its the weight (density) plus the force exerted that is the reason a sharp object cuts. not how sharp it is
Amazing craftsmanship... I love it.✌🏽
I'm a girl, and I think I would like to do blacksmithing (if possible) do you think I have a chance? And if i could what school should i go to? :3
Sure! everyone has a chance to do whatever! And for the Schools search "Blacksmith Schools *Country You Live In*" :)
Thanks!
***** Well it must be true then if its the answer to it. :)
xXToothlessXx I see what you did there.. Hahahaha :P
It's why I studied metallurgy.
BY THE POWER OF GRAY-SKULL!!!!!
I HAVE THE POWER !!!!!
@@Chilnvillain HE MAN!!!!
Can you please make myrtenaster from rwby?
we like to see a double axe...thanks for share! excellent work!
Inuyasha's sword Tessaiga!!!
Oh my gosh yes. Inuyashas tessaiga!
The swords from Attack on Titan!!! Plzz
They should make the blades detachable 8D
That is a horrible idea for practical combat. There's a reason most blade's are actually only one piece of steel with the hilt wrapped up. Forceful strikes or swings could send the blade piece flying.
Yup The Teen Titan sword Is like Epic!
+Kikock Blazkowitz If you've watched attack on titan, the. you should know that that's how the swords are. The majority of anime swords wouldn't be practical for actual use in combat, so that much should be assumed. A replica titan slaying sword with a detachable blade would be amazing and show accurate, but the cord attaching the hilt to the 3-D maneuver gear should be non existent since he'd have to make that as well just for the cord to make sense. He'd exhaust way too much time and resources making the swords AND the maneuver gear for the entirety of the project to be even close to worth while. Basically, he should make just the actual sword unit. Even fans of attack on titan would be bored to tears watching a thirty minute video explaining the complexity of a 3-D maneuver unit.
Photon Gamer Can you read? The guy said Attack on Titan not Teen Titans. Lol
Zabuza's sword from Naruto. That would be epic.
Danm right
Fucking. Yes.
the kubakiribocho yes!!!!!!
M1CKss someday in the future are they gonna make Leonardo's pair of katanas
I have looked for that sword since the internet was young. Awesome job!
lord of the rings elven two handed long sword
make CONAN THE BARBARIAN SWORD.
Carlos Tejada Hell Yeahh, the Atlantean Sword!
Cool but where to find Star metal?
AMAZING BRO. YOU DO THE BEST WORK. IM IMPRESSED BRO. GOOD STUFF
esta del uno, podrias fafricar la de soulcalibur del video juego
Saludos buen amigo césar,

en que puedo ayudarte,
blazing sword from voltron would be cool
Agree.
Actualy, the sword is quite diferent from the original.
+Ricardo Martínez M. very dont like this one
+Ricardo Martínez M. At least he didn't try the new show's sword.
looks pretty good to me! let see if you can make a better one!
+music1981ify lol what kind of answer is that! kid, did you see the original serie??
It's close but the pommel is open-ended. Almost every reproduction of this sword I've ever seen--including official toys from the 80s--would make them this way. It should be closed-ended.
I used to watch it when I was 5 and this is incredible
By the power of Greyskull.
I HAVE THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And so i cry sometimes when i'm lying in bed just to get it out what's in my head and HEAYYYYYYAAYAA i'm feeling a little peculiar
Poseidon's Trident
Awesome job, looks amazing. I'd like to see the sword from the original beast master film. Keep up the great work.
Pleas can you make a Zabuza's Sword (from Naruto)!
Not sure if anyone would be able to lift something like that, much less swing it.
tibbus
He made the Buster Sword though, so I think Zabuza's sword is possible.
It has a very simplistic look so it would not be very spectacular
yes but its cool!
why not sasuke's sword?
2:01 HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA
Lol
Yes. YES.
*I HAVE A POWEEEEEEEERR!!!*
the arm pit power!!!!
I want to see Man at Arms make: He-Man's sword from 2002 series and the 87 movie. Also some other weapons like the Separator axe from Brutal Legend, the Biggoron's sword from Ocarina of Time, the Gilded sword from Majora's Mask, Skeletor's double swords from 2002 series, and both swords from Conan the Barbarian.
What about Revelation?
It looks nothing like he mans sword, completley inaccurate!
thundercats sword. lion-o
efogg3 , screw that sword. How about the great knife instead?????????????????????????????
efogg3, It was called the sword of Omens.
Voltrons Blazing Sword!!!!
So beautiful. What an artist. It was just a pleasure to watch this video. From the raw steel to such a detailed and precise look and also is functional. I love that sword.
I love all of the many above swords (my childhood!), but a lightsaber could slice 'em to pieces. When someone builds a fully functional one, I'm buying.
🎶And I say hay! What's going on?!🎶
Underrated comment
I like that this sword didn't wobble as much as the other swords.
I would love to see you make the star sword and power sword from the 70's cartoon Blackstar. The 2 swords merge together to form the power star. It would be awesome to see it in real life. A little nostalgia from my childhood. Thanks. You do amazing work
The ONLY negative I can see is that the bottom bit of the aluminum should extend about the same width as the top bit, just a bit narrower at the bottom, not as big a variance as you have. Just check the static drawing of the sword used for the commercial breaks.
Other than that, gorgeous blade!
The Overlords of Trolla couldn't do better.
Had no idea a lot of work goes into making a sword...thought a machine just does it all. Would love to buy a he-man sword.
I would love to see made cyberman armour - it looks weird with handle bars on the top of the helmet but it is a iconic part of SciFi history.
what a beauty I'm in Awe of all you're works
