take it on the chin, you get 1 hour max battery life with the 18650 and using the LRF. The good thing is though the Condor has a USB port so I just connect a Juice 10000mAH battery to it, stick it in my top pocket with cable sticking out and you can go all night. Then it does become a great little unit. A neck lanyard would have been nice, rig up some paracord and your good to go.
@@HunterNV I am not overall pleased thats is for sure, HM tech support have been contacted and I will send in my device for a service repair, at an inconvenience to myself.
Ok so if the new Condor has the same insides as the Falcon will we be getting a firmware update to give Falcon owners access to the new feature such as zoom pro etc???
You say that the Condor and the Falcon is exactly the same internals..which model Falcon is equivalent to that Condor you are showing, asking because I didn't want a LRF on a spotter, and I was only wanting the 35mm,so would the Falcon FQ 35 be the same as the Condor CQ35 lrf,image/internals wise???...cheers
I would contact Hik about that if that’s all your getting from it 🤔 I would imagine they are basing their usage with things like wifi and r/f scan mode off but still you should get a lot better battery life than that!
@@260rips I have the CQ35l and don’t use the WiFi mate or scan and still only get 30-40 minutes but I can’t knock the quality it’s outstanding, someone told me hik are working on the battery life maybe with a firmware update It’s the LRF that kills the battery
Went through 2 Hikmicro thermals, fogging up internally and the screen kept glowing red or grey. Really crap service and full of excuses here in NZ, so went with a Sytong and never looked back. Lasts for hours with the LRF
@iandebie the problem has been rectified. That was done by a fair few emails back and forth via a bit ofbtesting My unit has been away for 12 days. For me, their process is flawed. Just as well the retailer loaned me a unit. Overall not a great expirence
Met Paul when up at Macleods, Tain. Really helpful and good demos available.
Very impressed with the new kit I must say and a great review of the new products. 👍
Looking forward to a test and footage of the new thunder sight with optical zoom on rabbit size targets.

You are easily pleased £2400 for a unit you need a battery pack no. Defective component identified

New firmware update available now but unfortunately no zoom pro😢 other new features added to the falcon also. Hot and cold and sharpness. 👍
Great Video💯, Thank you 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Ye but what’s Mark’s favourite thermal spotter?

FQ50 I believe he said 👍
Do you come anywhere near Southampton Paul
Can you mount the hand strap on the Condor for left hand use?
No
@@HunterNV That’s a shame (for me anyway!)
@@jamestolfree7607Why you need left hand use?
@@Tom-zj3fd I’m left handed, left eye dominant and it is my preference.
Auto focus would be nice.
No prices again
How about crows in the trees
5hr battery life is rubbish you get 30-40 minutes at best

Bad batch of components. Problem is sorted now.
