They turn up once in awhile around here. Honestly, on youtube, I haven't seen anyone else dig one though... not even my fellow Canadian diggers.

Nice pumpkin seed flask. The Cracker Jack train car is awesome. I loved Cracker Jack when I was a kid. Wish I would have saved some of those prizes.

Great site that warrants a deeper dig - the clay pipe is a nice find. In colonial times you could buy one of these at a tavern for a penny. Some had quite long stems - sharing a pipe was common but you broke off a bit of the stem before you used it. At some sites you will find bits of the stem but no pipe. You got the good part!

The Cracker jack toy is awesome. Nice bonus find with the clay pipe too. Cheers and have a great week Kevin !

I found a railroad dump when I was around 15. Hell if I could find it today. Looks like you may have a good site. The Smuggler is a sweet find. 👍

Hey, Kevin: That was a different sort of site you checking out this time.I'm glad you got a few interesting bottles out of it..the plain clear ring neck ones and the pipe tell me a worktrain parked there sometimes. Those are probably extracts, along with olive oils from the kitchen car.I wonder what else the heavy flat layer of brush along the embankment is hiding? Got to say that ginger pumpkinseed is acool one too.

I've dug one of those slick amber bottles, I think they are cough syrup bottles.
I've never dug a Cognac Monet.

The old Smuggler bottles that were found in New York were tucked in the walls in the floorboards during prohibition as to not be caught having alcohol while it was banned

the old smugglers would have had a no fill porcelain cap. and yes 75 years is old enough, when most of the people you gown up with are dead, and things you remember as common place that most people today no nothing about are looked on as antique, even 73 feels old,

Original label? 🤔 My favorite most profitable dig sites are near the railroad tracks but they don't suggest we go near them anymore. (America is a country full of snowflakes!)
