For our road trip from Bangalore to Goa we took the below route:
Bangalore - Tumkur - Chitradurga - Davanagere - Hubballi - Dharwad - Goa
50% of the journey was 3 lane roads, post that the roads were still very good and the last 170 kms is through beautiful western ghats.

Hi, very informative vlog. We are planning for a road trip too. We need your advise on one thing.. we have a 3.5 year old kid so while returning we are thinking of a day halt in mid way so that it's not too tiring for her. Can you suggest where can we take a halt for a day ( thinking of covering 300- 400 km ) on day of halt
Waise in my opinion halt is not required if you start early but still if u wish to have than Hubli can be a good choice . Since for Goa , Hubli bypass is there so you might have to take some extra mile . Hope it help and still if you have some doubt pl let me know
Are there any hairpin bends on this ghat road?
May be 1 or max 3 but very safe not like tough to ride . Don't worry about that road it's very well made .

How many hours did u take to reach calangute from electronic city?
We took approx 12 hours to reach Goa.
Any idea about petrol charges?
97 Rs per Lt were charges prevailing in Goa
Any permit required? For private vehicles entering Goa.
