Any recommendations? Most everything I’ve found are either $12 Taobao Chinesium junk or $500 selvedge denim autistic “muh sycophants jane fadez” with very few options in between.
Those season three boots have caught my eye. While I love the look of my boots, I don't necessarily look forward to wearing them for long due to comfort. Plus, I've had a hard time finding boots that would work well with techwear like lululemon pants. The sand color and bold rubber sole looks like it could work.
I find most shoes go well with my (dark grey) Lulu ABC pants. Although I’m not aiming for a typical techwear look. While I want the performance they promise, the general aesthetic is... (diplomatically speaking) not for me. I’m looking for more tech fabrics in a business casual/traditionally western male clothing styles. Outlier is very close but their pants are skin tight.
@@Mister_Phafanapolis I have a pair of made-to-measure pants that might be close to what you’re looking for. They’re in what Knot Standard calls a “technical fabric”, and the material is super thin and stretchy - but it’s cut like a dress pant, and has a dress paint waist. I find them so light on my skin it’s almost a little odd to wear with a dress shirt - but they definitely let you move like lululemon pants www.knotstandard.com/trousers/navy-travel-pants/
Great video! By any chance have you made a video about what pants to wear with boots or how to wear pants with boots? Every time I buy a pair of pants I can never get it to look good.
Nice video Brock. I have a request. Can you make a video on how to detect high quality clothes? Like a side to side comparison with something that can be classified as low quality.
Gentleman’s Gazette, Real Men Real Style and Sartorial Talks have some videos on the topic. Hardest part for me is hearing the words without being able to feel the items, feel the fabrics, see them in different light, etc. “Unfused collar” and “canvas lapel” don’t mean anything to me if I can’t feel the difference. My recommendation after watching some videos is to go to a high end mall or stores in your area and just touch and feel things. Pick stuff up and look at it just to see what it looks like and key in on areas the video talked about. Unfortunately you probably won’t be able to feel selvedge denim or mother of pearl buttons or much linen or silk anything because that’s just not something most US stores carry. Bonus points if you wear your some of your favorite clothes and compare them to what you’re seeing in store.
have you tried the reebok soft performance briefs? they feel very soft to me albeit they don't always stay up but at $22 for three, I feel like they're a steal
I am 5'8" and 148 lbs. The Medium Short hits me right about where it should (mid-zipper). It is not fitted, but not baggy, and will be a great summer t-shirt with shorts. You might check them out.
I’ve been looking at Akashi Kama for awhile now, but didn’t know much about them. Thanks for highlighting the noragi because it allowed me to pull the trigger and purchase one!
Great video, I really like this format because of how specific it is (relative to 'wardrobe essentials' type of videos). Definitely going to check out those boxer briefs! I feel like boxer briefs are highly underrated as these are the one piece of clothing that are ALWAYS needed :)
Under 5’10 seems to be popular these days but their customer support is the worst. I bought three chinos from them and after the first wash they shrunk really bad and couldn’t wear them anymore. But their fit is good though
Two things I can’t or wont wear ever.. joggers and skinny jeans. I hate things that ate baggy at top and taper down to the ankle. And skinny jeans look like tights on me .. slim is great but skinny is trendy and I don’t wear trendy.. and elastic or stretchy cuffs at wrists or waist..a straight hem looks sooooo much better..
The best workout shorts that are super high quality and fit great without breaking the bank for me are from the brands Bearbottom and Barbell Apparel! Highly recommend you check them out :)
Can you make a video on where to buy chino shorts and other type of shorts for short guys. It’s hard to find good ones, I know Peter manning has some but they’re so expensive!
Definitely cool that you are giving microbrands some love!! I'm interested to see more Brock
Just bought a Noragi and its an interesting and great alternative to a cardigan/sweater.

I would love more videos like this with brand recommendations. Especially now that The Kavalier barely uploads haha.
Those are some big shoes to fill (literally).
@@BrockMcGoff lol you’ve got that right!

These are definitely more comfy than most work boots!

So happy to find a channel dedicated to men's fashion presented by somone who's stature the same as mine -thank you!
Brilliant Video!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Reigning champ is great for athletic wear.
Love the video Brock. But I wouldn't take boots with that kind of outsole for hiking though.
For the Akashi Kama X-Small size you're wearing, does it fit like a size 34/44 sportcoat?
It fits more like a 32 sport coat, or a 34 slim.
@@BrockMcGoff This is very helpful. I appreciate the reply.
Great video. I’d like to see more of this specific content
You da man Brock! Thanks for making these, really informative. #TeamHorizontalFly 💪🏽
Check out Culprit mens underwear. They are made in the USA and they are very comfortable
quality videos as always Brock.

Massimo Dutti are cool
Hey Brock what boot size you recomend. For most boots I wear 7.5 half size down from 8 which is what I wear for sneakers
Interesting recommendations. Since Spring and Summer is coming, maybe a swimwear for shorter guys video? Most swim trunks are too long on me.
I’m average height and fine the common 9-11” inseams fo be unsightly, too.
Any suggestions for tall guys? I’m 6’6, 175lbs, and have a hard time finding pieces that look good and fit well.
The Kavalier channel has some recommendations because he is also a tall, rather lanky man. “American Tall” (???) is for men over six feet.

From where your pants are from, they are 😍🔥
That bird was voicing it's support like us.
"most durable short...." how long have you owned them and how often do you wear them.
Hey man, hope you're doing well 👍🏻
Thanks, you too!
Have you checked out Buck Mason's new tshirt line? Has Short, Medium, and Tall sizes. Would be great to get a review.
I have one tee from them that's way too long... need to check out the new lengths.
@@BrockMcGoff I get a Pima in the new Short length today. They didn't have them yet in the SF store. My first B-M purchase.

I think you should check out taylor stitch, I think you would love them, especially their shirt jacket ojai
So being under 5' 10" is short now. WTF
depends where you live. in america 5'10 is average. european countries like denmark you would be short.
Please subtitules for the persons that dont speack english
Woah first for once I guess
Big Fan of the Ten Thousand Set short. Best swim trunks i have owned, and are great for workouts too.

Gonna check all those stores. More videos like this please
Myles Apparel's Everyday Shorts are the best all-arounders in my opinion. Going out, working out, even swimming.
Patagonia baggies have entered the chat

The Under 5'10'' dress shirts really don't look like they're long enough to tuck in, has anybody tried any?
I am not into Joggers but I do know a bit about the look of traditional Japanese work wear and your Joggers will go well with your Japanese top.
Check out pair of thieves boxer briefs
How slip resistant is that season three boot
What are those boots in the thumbnail
Bought the noragi jacket in that red carmine wave color. Looks so cool! Can't wait to wear it.
Mind me asking if it's too hot? In other words, is it alright for summer?
hell yeah. MORE MODEST MAN
Great, you are showcasing smaller brands. Give us some info about Lethato Shoes, hearing good things about it.
Great content, more recommendations please, I trust your opinion for the height challenged club
Very informative
I am also a short guy and I’m following since last two months. But i curious what’s your height ?
this is one of your best videos. absolute fire
Great Video and thanks for the new brand exposure.
Oof, I've been so curious about the blue noragi one for a while now!
I thinj I'm ready for my first Kimono hehe
how to pulloff black shirt?
Nice quads brah!

I've tried Barbell, but their shorts are a bit too baggy for my legs. I haven't tried Bearbottom yet....will check those out!

The Modest Man ok cool! I ended up buying the Peter manning tech shorts lol
Great stuff. Ever tried Stan Ray pants?
Nope, haven't heard of them...
Does the brands ships to India ?
