I was just about to comment the same thing. Like obviously the crew would have gotten chocolate after filming, but Mike made them part of the experience as well. He even hand fed it to em!
Adam and Dustin are amazing. It's great when 2 crafty people build a whole business from discarded equipment and re-fit it all themselves. Truly from the ground up.
I love that mike feeding the camerapeople is a thing now. Dont stop, i love seeing the reactions of the rest of the crew. I love shows that dont try to hide what they are, a production with a crew.
Just so everyone knows, they are no longer doing this in a lumber mill, but have their very own factory! It is in the neighboring town to Arcata called Eureka! It is a beautiful historic building and is equipped with a retail store and cafe!!!! So amazing!!!!
Mike, I've been watching you for longer than is polite to say. Your videos/episodes, just like you & the people you profile, are one of a kind that just get better with age. Mike Rowe, PERFECTLY tempered, craft television, worth $6000.00 a bar. I would add that you are the best at what YOU do, by a long shot.
Hey mr mike. I just wanted to say thank you. Im a tradesman, i think youre a big part of why we tradies are getting more respect and people are starting to step away from the "construction people are dumb" mentality. Plumbing & HVAC, if youre wondering.
Ahhhhhhh, chocolate! I wish I was in that kitchen, learning about the process. Thanks Mike and crew and of course, the chocolatiers who bring deliciousness to the masses!
Honestly one of my top 5 shows I have ever watched. Tho the title has changed, the love of the idea is still there and Mike I really appreciate your dedication to this. To the crew, nothing is lost on what all you do as well and I appreciate you all as well.
Honestly, it's the little things I love about Mike. Just the way he creeps behind the camera to place a piece of chocolate into the crew's mouths. Speaks volumes imo.
Immediately did a search for their chocolate bars. So many varieties to choose from! Hard to believe they do all that in this one little shop. I am definitely hyped up to try some. Great episode. The sing-along was icing on the cake ... or chocolate bar.
There's more genuine journalism in this 15 minute video, than the sum total everything Fox has produced in the last week. In a just world, you'd have a full time show watched by hundreds of millions of people and 4 spin-offs. Never compromise yourselves, and I'll never unsubscribe!!!
Nice mouth feel is important !! Lol lucky enough to have had these as I’m local ish Thank you for showcasing the great craftsmen and women of the North Coast .. I am lucky enough to have enjoyed the Goat cheese from that episode too . We truly are blessed to have amazingly talented people up here glad you came to visit 💚
I like your style, Mike ! Your crew deserves chocolate just as much as you do ! This was a great example that you can change your direction, but you have to work for it.
If you watch the whole thing there's a moment when Mike Rowe shows why he is THE coolest, sweetest guy out there. When it's taste testing time he actually breaks off a piece and takes some to each of his camera people and hand feeds them a taste. How many guys give a crap about their Camara people. He's just a kind considerate gentleman and I love all of his shows!
If anyone else did an episode like this, I wouldn’t watch it. Mike makes things so interesting and funny. He’s one of a kind, a national hero! And he’s from the City (I was born and lived there, by the Zoo). Mike, do a video on the history of or good things in the City, please!
What a fantastic episode! These two guys are just amazing. I've just ordered a bunch of chocolate from them!😊 I am *soooo* happy that Mike is back! I've loved everything that he's ever done on TV. I'm now is the process of watching every single video on his YT channel!
I went to a Bagel spot, to find a lumber yard, where 2 Carpenters make Chocolate. (I'm already exhausted) All this needs is a Rabbi, a Priest, and a Whore, and there's a great joke in there somewhere! FFS music & singing too! I loved that you gave out bit of chocolate, like a Priest gives out the Holy sacraments.
Fun informative episode. I taught myself to not chew craft made chocolates. Instead, I let the chocolate slowly melt in my mouth. More craft chocolatiers should re-educate/ encourage this technique of enjoying specialty created chocolates.
Wow! My home town, Arcata, California. Graduated from AUHS, home of the Tigers. Happy to see these two men making a difference in the town and truly enjoying what they do. P.S. graduation was in 1961, town was light years from what it is today.
Another awesome ep Mike!! Dustin, Adam....awesome dudes that show thinking outside the box really can change youe life! I myself am not keen on the rich, brown stuff....yeah I know, there's something wrong with me....but I am definitely going to look them up so I can suprise my fiance with some....and spread the word around Down Under! Nice work. Peace and Love from Australia
Volvo 122S. My mother had one. That car saved my life when I was driving it too fast, went off the road and bounced off a tree back onto the road. Otherwise it was tumbling down a steep hill. Drove it away.
I would buy it. I finally noticed Mikes unique T-shirt. Hey Mike what's with the Mackinac Island Fire Dept T-shirt? I used to live up near there. Thanks.
Having worked in pastry for many years, I'm very curious as to what region the beans were from and what the final percentage was. Just by color I would guess 50 to 60%
As I’ve gotten older and lost my sweet tooth, I actually enjoy the idea of paying 8$ for a quality hand made bar, given how sparingly I enjoy a sweet treat. I may have to give these guys my patronage.
This is the area I live. Our family loves Dick Taylors chocolates! They are fantastic and worth looking for! Anywhere you can get it, buy some! And come visit our area! It is stunning. Mountains, huge trees, and ocean. Whatever else could a human want?
Took week vacation in Arcata to visit a friend in college. One of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. The beaches are a short drive away and they didn't allow any chain businesses in the town. It was such an amazing place to hang out. Jealous of Mike getting paid to film there.
I liked when Mike fed his camera people some of the chocolate. What a good dude.
HahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahHhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
You actually think ‘the crew’ doesn’t make sure they get chocolate?
They all seem to be buddies lmfao
I was just about to comment the same thing. Like obviously the crew would have gotten chocolate after filming, but Mike made them part of the experience as well. He even hand fed it to em!
Yeah any food based episode mike always makes sure the crew gets to try, even back in the dirty jobs days
I’m delighted that Mike is back to making videos and I hope that he never stops and I also like his gentle demeanor.
LONG TIME NO SEE. MIKE is BACK SINCE THE CABLE DAYS. ლ( ● '◡' ● )ლ
Back to making videos? This show aired over ten years ago lol!
This video is soooo old 😂😂😂😂
Adam and Dustin are amazing.
Absolutely, I love that about Mike's show too.
I love that mike gave the chocolate to his crew. He always liked to incorporate his team into the episodes
Just so everyone knows, they are no longer doing this in a lumber mill, but have their very own factory! It is in the neighboring town to Arcata called Eureka! It is a beautiful historic building and is equipped with a retail store and cafe!!!! So amazing!!!!

Mike has to be one of the most, if not the most, interesting people in the world! Love everything you do!
Mike Rowe for President!
Mike Rowe 2024...What America needs!
I love the fact that he doesnt leave his crew out of anything. Real genuine guy.
Hey mr mike. I just wanted to say thank you. Im a tradesman, i think youre a big part of why we tradies are getting more respect and people are starting to step away from the "construction people are dumb" mentality. Plumbing & HVAC, if youre wondering.

I love that Mike is so down to share with his crew, you can tell he really cares about them.
Mike Rowe and Chocolate??? Match made in this girl's Heaven 😍😍😍
Honestly one of my top 5 shows I have ever watched. Tho the title has changed, the love of the idea is still there and Mike I really appreciate your dedication to this.
To the crew, nothing is lost on what all you do as well and I appreciate you all as well.
I recall someone saying that you shouldn't follow your passion; Instead, you should bring it with you.
I freaking love Mike Rowe. I would watch absolutely anything Mike Rowe is a part of.
Always nice to see Mike take care of his crew making sure everything gets some chocolate
Mike hand feeding everybody chocolate is the wholesome moment i needed today! thanks Mike!
You never fail in your quest to bring us the best but this was 100% in any category. And the cutest musical finish ever-there-was!
Honestly, it's the little things I love about Mike. Just the way he creeps behind the camera to place a piece of chocolate into the crew's mouths. Speaks volumes imo.

Loved this episode thanks everyone for bringing us these eps.
I love it when cameramen is included in episodes :> especially when food is involved. Cameramen are humans to
Well, that's debatable. :)
literally buying some of their chocolate right now. i love what they do and i love me some dark chocolate.
Maybe you should relook at 13:40 again where he is picking his ear wearing the gloves he is touching and wrapping the chocolate with
@@flyinghigh4549 lmfao i missed that! oh nooooo

God bless you Mike! This episode is so good that I bought $50+ of chocolate from these Guys! 💌
So glad Mike and crew are doing these videos here on UA-cam.
I don’t understand why this episode doesn’t have 10mil views 🤷♂️
Thumbnails too confusing! 😂
Fantastic! Chocolate is life!! ❤
Yes, it surely is!
I like your style, Mike ! Your crew deserves chocolate just as much as you do ! This was a great example that you can change your direction, but you have to work for it.
I enjoy watching Mike Rowe because he's so frickin goofy while being so personable
Love Mike! Love chocolate more, but still love Mike ❤.
Mike Rowe must be the most loved human on the planet! Who doesn't love Mike Rowe!
Yummy! Mike finds the greatest things. Chocolate made in a lumber yard, who knew....
If you watch the whole thing there's a moment when Mike Rowe shows why he is THE coolest, sweetest guy out there. FFS music & singing too!
I loved that you gave out bit of chocolate,
like a Priest gives out the Holy sacraments.
That man is my hero. Thank you Mike for all the great stuff you do😊
Real, quality made chocolate is one of the best things in the world. I would give up a dozen favorite foods before I gave up classic chocolate
Excellent, pure and simple.
Thanks Mike and crew
i have watched you all my young adult and adult life and you truly inspired my work ethic and why i became a contractor
Fun informative episode. I taught myself to not chew craft made chocolates. Instead, I let the chocolate slowly melt in my mouth. More craft chocolatiers should re-educate/ encourage this technique of enjoying specialty created chocolates.
What a fantastic video. Thank you Mike and crew......😊
Excellent outro! You should legitimately record that with them and add it to all of your shows!
Somebody’s gotta do it! I love that you’re out there doing it for us, Mike!
I love chocolate! My dad used to live near Arcata in Samoa but I didn’t know about the chocolate!
I love watching Micro.
Wow! My home town, Arcata, California. Graduated from AUHS, home of the Tigers. Happy to see these two men making a difference in the town and truly enjoying what they do. P.S. graduation was in 1961, town was light years from what it is today.
Wow...what a great moment to share,thx Mike
Love your work Mike, keep on doin it!
Oh, thank you for the song at the end!!! So fitting!!!
Awesome! Way to go Mike! I love your genuine interest in their PASSION. That is something that you don’t find as much as you used to.

Love Mike Rowe’s content and who doesn’t love 🍫 I love it like anyone but sometimes it does break me out
That lumber yard looks like an awesome place
it is.
Mr. Row is a true American. I hope he keeps up his show.
Volvo 122S. My mother had one. That car saved my life when I was driving it too fast, went off the road and bounced off a tree back onto the road. Otherwise it was tumbling down a steep hill. Drove it away.
This is one of the best episodes! Thank you Mike Rowe!
Fine Chocolate & Banjo picking. I'm in heaven. :)
Mike Rowe is the Ultimate Guy! That Volvo is, in fact, a car and NOT an upside-down bathtub.
Love that car. Simple and beautiful.
AND it is still on the highway!!! 😮
Mike Rowe is a national treasure!
I am so proud Mike is doing his thing. He relates to Americans.
I would buy it. I finally noticed Mikes unique T-shirt. Hey Mike what's with the Mackinac Island Fire Dept T-shirt? I used to live up near there. Thanks.
I love you, Mike Rowe 😅 never stop Rowe-ing
I’m sold!
As a Mendocino county resident you made me go north to find a bar of smooth gold.
The harmony on 'cocoatown' was perfect.
Anyone else notice the ear digging at 13:40 with the gloves on? 🤔 Love the show and Mr. Rowe is a National Treasure. ❤
He was rubbing the top of his ear and they were done packaging/handling the chocolate at that point.
Wow.! Thanks Mike.. Love your podcast. This is best in show. Welcome back.
Awesome. Always look forward to my friend Mike 😁
I think this is one of my favorites!! Wood, bluegrass, and chocolate--totally jealous!
man i wish i was on Mike Rowes crew, always looks like a goodtime man. Thanks for making videos again guys
How much do I love this guy? All the love! Such a man-dude kinda fella.❤😊
Mike thanks for a great watch.
I like Mike.. he gives everything honestly... which is nice.. I loved Dirty Jobs.. and hope he might do some more.. stay safe..
Mike Rowe and chocolate...nice combo!!
Having worked in pastry for many years, I'm very curious as to what region the beans were from and what the final percentage was. Just by color I would guess 50 to 60%
I love Mike's videos. Entertaining and informative.
just like every episode.... i hit the like button and sit back and enjoy! never disappointed, Mike Rowe is pure gold.
As I’ve gotten older and lost my sweet tooth, I actually enjoy the idea of paying 8$ for a quality hand made bar, given how sparingly I enjoy a sweet treat. I may have to give these guys my patronage.
I was surprised to see this was Arcata 😮I went to Humboldt State and loved it, the area is beautiful. I’m glad your showcasing Humboldt talent!
Chocolate? Count me in. 👍
Thank you! This was a truly fun video.
I love the small, lesser known brands, such as this.
This is the area I live. Our family loves Dick Taylors chocolates! They are fantastic and worth looking for! Anywhere you can get it, buy some! And come visit our area! It is stunning. Mountains, huge trees, and ocean. Whatever else could a human want?
The ability to breathe without smelling skunkweed.
Love the way the crews involved....
Fantastic. Loved the episode. Mike you are the best
Those guys definitely know a thing or two about packing fudge!
Someone needed to say it 🤣
“Won’t you take me to Cocoa town!” LOL😂
Was in Eureka, CA last week visiting family and picked up a bar. Its excellent.
What order are the words in the thumbnail intended to go in?
Took week vacation in Arcata to visit a friend in college. One of the prettiest towns I've ever seen. The beaches are a short drive away and they didn't allow any chain businesses in the town. It was such an amazing place to hang out. Jealous of Mike getting paid to film there.
Now when i go back home again, i will go and check these people out and of course buy my some locally made chocolate
Mike...How many takes for the song at the end??? You still have the best job in the world!! I'm so jealous...
That was great, really enjoyed the ending. Keep it up the videos are great
