Get to know the artists behind the music as we introduce our 2024 Sound Off! lineup. Playing in our first Sound Off! showcase on Saturday, March 2nd is miacompactdisk, Rae, and King Zaae.
miacompactdisk is a solo project by Mia Cole-Daum, a 17-year-old Seattle local. Blending the sounds of indie rock and bedroom pop with singer-songwriter lyricism, she aims to evoke the strong feelings that come along with teenagehood. Mia is passionate about both creating and consuming music and is constantly looking for new ways to experiment with her own sound and compositions.

MoPOP’s Sound Off! gives up-and-coming artists mentorship from industry leaders, entrée into an artistic community invested in their growth, connections with peer musicians, and the chance to showcase their original music in MoPOP’s iconic Sky Church venue.
This year’s three live showcases set for February 17, February 24, and March 2, raise the bar for an all-ages showcase with a first-class experience at MoPOP for performers and the audience alike.
