I'm a fan of this man but the stuff he did on Blue Note is criminally underrated unless you're a die-hard jazz fan. 👌🏽

I remember Horace Parlan from an old record I had in high school in the seventies, "Tough Tenor Favorites". Johnny Griffin and Eddie Davis quintet. I liked him because his playing was not too show-offy.
