I'm actually best friends with Joshua Ledet. He went to my church and sang for the youth group on Wednesday's. Hearing is voice in person is a whole lot different than on TV/UA-cam. He loves Soul music and his range is crazy. Sometimes when we both sang sometimes he jokes around saying I should get better, kinda true cause my singing voice is meh lol. His mother is so sweet and she was happy her son made it as far as he did, even though he didn't win (should have) but in her eyes and all of Southwest Louisiana was very supportive for him. Actually he does have an album he got produced for him. He does still sing in a lot of places if anyone was wondering.

Please tell Joshua this for me. I voted for him on the last day of voting. I put the correct number in to give him my vote. No question he was going to win American Idol, but I wanted to help. The first time I called the number I heard "Thank you for voting for Joshua Ledet. .. . ." I hit redial and I heard, "Thank you for voting for Phillip Phillips." I hit redial again and again, they gave my vote to Phillips. Next time I dialed again, no redial. This time Joshua got my vote. Hit redial, and Phillips got it I was stunned. That was not an accident on ATT's part. Someone at that company deliberately stole votes from Joshua. I stopped watching the show after his "loss". And I don't bother voting for contestants on The Voice. It's clear to me at this point that telephone voting is rigged. if Whitney Houston we're on The Voice, she would be eliminated after the first vote. So would Aretha Franklin. So would Gladys Knight. There is something wrong over there. Only the audience members should be allowed to vote on these shows. Tell Joshua that he did win. And tell him that I was as devastated by his "loss" as he was.

he's the best soul singer ever. Every aspect, his tone his control his articulation his emotional power, no matter what he sings he's completely at 1 what's the music in the words and the feeling. He's not the best since anybody he's the best.

Joshua could have rocked it out, with that AI bump. Every song he did was ABSOLUTELY riveting. I'm coming back often, just to revisit Josh. Again... PP? Anybody? Anything? I genuinely did enjoy his interpretations, think he's extremely talented too. But I don't see them on the same level.
