FYI, this ukulele now comes with strap buttons attached and fret markers on the side of the neck. I know because I just got mine from Amazon. Be careful which color you buy as some colors come with a strap and capo. The black doesn't have those, but instead, comes with the tuner. Also, my user manual indicated the enclosed items, one of which was the Nova U concert ukulele, but it did have the accessories for the black Nova U Mini soprano. I was mad at first that I got the wrong size (and measuring didn't help because it measured 22", not the stated 21" for the soprano, nor 23" for the concert!), but then it occurred to me to count the frets. Mine has 17. It looks like the concert has 18. So I did get the correct size, just the wrong user manual. So if anyone comes upon this same situation, just count the frets to see which size you got for sure; don't rely on the user manual as it may be the wrong manual that they sent you.
I grabbed one from Amazon at a ridiculous Black Friday price. It's much more than I expected and I really enjoy it. I also have the Waterman in soprano and concert, and I enjoyed them with a lot of playing, but they don't compare to the Nova U Soprano. I agree with all of Cory's comments, and I join her in recommending this uke. Excellent review!
This is plastic with carbon fibers in it, not the carbon fiber you are used to. Intonation is great on these although it seems to sound out of tune more easily than a wood uke. New models come with strap buttons and a strap but no tuner. It looks like the joyo branded tuner which is okay.
Oh yeah for sure! The sound is great and as a bonus it’s a travel uke and made of carbon fiber so you can clean it easily. Enya makes great ukuleles. While they might be a little more than other brands the quality is much better at the price point in my opinion

I purchased one today, its aesthetics and sound is really beautiful 😊
Bought one today and I'm going to use it in school, asap schools will re-open after lockdown. Btw: I love this tiny cutie 🥰
Awesome! They are so easy to clean too so you can disinfect when needed too! I love mine and use it almost everyday :)
Will you recommend replacing the strings to Aquila' kids color educational strings on the Nova U mini?
Thanks for the useful video

Can you also use this as your regular ukulele? Or would you recommend something else for that price point? :)

@@CoryTeachesMusic thank you! :)
Insightful review, nice instrument.
Has anyone had any fret wear issue's? I keep seeing people return them or have to get rid of them because of this.
I have not and have had one for two years.
The frets and neck seem to be one piece so the frets are black. I wish they were a different color than the neck.
Nice review
love the vid
