A lot of people talk about this DLC like it is the greatest thing ever, but for me it's just meh. I would like the wall to wall buildings more if they weren't so garish. If they looked more like a gentrified warehouse district like in some larger cities, it would have been better. These are just an assault on the eyeballs. Another issue I have is why is there a huge fee for having a pedestrian district? I created a district that wasn't that large and it was draining my budget for about 15k. The garbage and dead people collection is also a little wonky. I had buildings less than 3 blocks from the garbage/service points and a crematorium where bodies and garbage went uncollected. The garbage point showed 1 truck in use. I got the DLC and the mid-century modern pack for $8 so I'm not really complaining and I really like the CCP.
they are abusing this game, every dlc they add is like adding a floor to a building with Foundations of sand. they were able to add several floors successfully but currently between mods and dlc. things are getting more and more delicate and it's time to put a definitive brake on the dlc, to continue releasing updates that polish everything that already exists. and if they want to continue living off the genre, it's time for serious programmers and create a true successor to sim city and this game. a prodigal son of both games.
Yeah but the problem with a brand new game is that all the assets and DLCs would have to start from scratch.
You wouldn’t get the entire game that we current have. We wouldn’t get it right away

I love that this DLC introduced so many radical changes, that it is easier to build a brand-new city than to embark on a massive urban renewal project. In part it seems that there is a whole new financial dynamic that goes with pedestrian only areas. You can't just throw them down anywhere. The downside to all of this is that as the game gets older some mods aren't keeping up. The replacement ones aren't compatible with everything that came before. So a small percentage of old but familiar gameplay is lost. But for the time being, I think it's well worth the money

Hi ... Great vid as always ... P&P .. mmmm .. it doesn't really look .. well ... real? I guess some cities in the world have vivid colored circles and leaf wallpaper patterns plastered all over them but not in my home town. Not for builders who want that authentic photo realistic feel to their cities ... great for fantasy or artsy people though.
definitely agree with you! Very artsy buildings. Not for me! But I like the high-capacity buildings!

Hey could u or any person help. Might not be about the vid but my maps arent loading in. When i load into cities skylines without the harmony mod then it says some stuff that i subscribe to the mod and restart the game or u have the delete thiese mods and theres every single mod i have. So i suscribe to it but then when i load a map or something then it just stop like 3/4 through and it wont go further. Yesterday i tried and there was just the map but in a temperete style and no trees and today it doesnt want to load in.
all the mods have been updated. That shouldnt have caused an issue.
Btw I love mixing the food trucks and ice cream trucks and food trailer from Parklife

Its always worth it if you do the ethical thing and pirate it (ethical bc it's from paradox)
I hate that most of this could be done with mods already--for years. To justify 15 dollars which is the same amount as packs that added whole new concepts to the game is impossible. I thought this was gonna be one of the 5 dollar packs but I was wrong

Something that no one emphasizes is that if you were used to making large cities of 500k inhabitants. Using this DLC you will not be able to make large cities and it will cost to reach populations of 100k+

the developers are tweaking planned obsolescence with these latest DLCs.
Will there be a pedestrian ‘road’ but with a tram track? Would be a great benefit

I like it, but with all the glitches that came with it after the update for it esp on console I say it’s better as $9.99 DLC instead of $14.99 but that’s just me
No one talks about the crap of the mods & the assets that comes every update. Not worth it.
Yeah the mods are gradually updated. They aren’t allowed to update the mods until the release

It broke the game too much for so little.
Who cares... just give us your money for something we didn't even bother test and fix before selling it. Also stay tuned for another upcoming 50 small portions of content we marketed as "DLCs" 14.99,- each.
I can tell you that the game was 100% tested on for Atleast 3-4 months
