The Pure Prairie League were a great band in the 70's , but once George Ed Powell and Larry Goshorn left it was over. Yes i know Vince Gill came in but they became a soft rock band peddling AOR and their days as one of the great country rock bands ended. Now they are just going through the motions with a revolving door of members, i suppose they've got to make a living but its all a bit sad .
