I just want to know how to take a accreditation in any standard like ISO 9001 : 2015 , ISO 14001 : 2015 , ISO 45001 :2015 from any accreditation body , as a new certification body of conformity assessment how can we apply for accreditation ISO 17021 , what is the procedure to get accreditation , about the eligibility criteria , how can we prepare and how should we do documentation so that we can get accredited by any accreditation body , this is my humble request to make a video briefly step by step on how to get accredited . I would be very grateful to you if you kindly accept my request and make a video on it . Thank you , Have a good health : )
Yes - I will be looking to develop new videos on accreditation, the role of accreditation bodies, such as ANAB, UKAS and NABCB, the use of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 & the IAF Mandatory Documents later in the Summer and into Autumn this year. Watch out for them...
This is really interesting, thank you. So if I open a project with a certification body, at the end of which I get a certificate to produce product A, however, I have to pay annual fees on the certificate as well as getting audited by the certification body on a consistent basis, would that be certification still? Since we are proving competence and consistency through audits?
Good question - Certification is the overall process comprising initial certification (Stage 1 and 2 Audits followed by a certification decision), Surveillance (in Years 1 and 2) followed by Recertification (in Year 3) carried out by a competent Auditor from the Certification Body accredited by the Accreditation Body.
Thank you for the information. As I'm from India ( not recognized by wfme) for suppose if I apply for ecfmg in 2022 & take usmle step 1 in 2026(within 5 years of ecfmg application). Then, can I take usmle step 2 ck , OET exams in 2027 or 2028( that is after 5 years of ecfmg application)? Please clarify.
Thank you for your kind comment, which inspires me to make other ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 videos to ensure that other UA-cam subscribers are aware of the accreditation process.
I am from India. My medical school is affiliated with our country's medical agency which is not recognized by wfme( now,at present my medical school is present in wdoms, but my doubt is after 2024 accreditation). So, will my medical school( which is not recognized by wfme) be indicated on world dictionary of medical schools (wdoms) after 2022? What is the solution for this situation. I kindly request you.
You raise a good question as there are different use of the word "accreditation". It is, often, used for recognition of medical schools, universities and other providers of academic qualifications. However, my use of "accreditation" is linked to the use of International Standards and certification providers for Environmental Management Systems to ISO 14001:2015. So I am not the best person to answer your specific question.
I love the environment and it took me 5 years to build my private university. Now I'm close to accreditation

interesting......question; If someone opened a training school, would it be better to be fully IAO accredited or certified?
