I just started working at The Melting Pot not too long ago and I must say, the way you and your family reacted to the fondue really made me happy :) I'm glad that you and your family loved it! If you guys ever get a chance to visit Buffalo, NY, we have one here! Don't hesitate to give us a visit! Share your experiences and fun times with anyone and everyone! Cheers! :)
thanks for sharing this video! it brings back memories of when i went to mp when I was like 7. all i really remember was cheesy stuff and then the chocolate strawberries being dipped
We finally made it here the other day! So fun! Wish we would have planned for it better, though. We didn't have enough time (or money!) to go all out. We're now searching for fondue sets and recipes, though!
I found their water-based cooking fondues bland. Even a heavily-seasoned one isn't going to impart much flavor to a chunk of meat or fowl when it's only left in for a couple of minutes, and boiling a good piece of steak in broth isn't an ideal way to cook it anyway. I would recommend the frying oil and tempura batter version for this kind of quick cooking. Choose chicken and shrimp or duck and shrimp, and add the lovely cheese fondues and dessert fondues.
@@SusanEvans I wish it was that simple. Their presentation is all wrong, if you ever had the real thing ( I lived in Europe for 8 years) you would understand what I am talking about!
I love hearing the kids in the back, such an awesome family date to do.
It was so much fun!
So sweet, the children are narrating and repeating everything he says.... too adorable!!
I'm glad you enjoyed my kids' reactions. :)

Fondue is definitely a fun way to eat food--drip cheese or chocolate over it!

Everything we ate was flavorful.
Exactly what I was thinking
Our locale "MP" is a cheap imitation of the real thing. You can think of it aa Fondue Fast Food. The Real Maccoy is fantastic!
I think if people scrimp on the ingredients, the end result isn't as good as the original.
