Hi Barry. I am overjoyed you appreciated my positive statements. Over here in England- I DO NOT WATCH TELEVISION! For many years now it has become dumbed-down, I don't turn on the TV anymore, I just cannot relate to anything, I said to my girlfriend yesterday, you know they don't show things like this on TV anymore, interviewers who are genuinely interested, and have respect for their subjects. This type of programming you have brought us here is rare and very special, it was a shame I had to seek it out. If there were tv programmes made as beautifully as your one, then I sure would be watching tv again. The only criticism of the show was, it was too short!, it left me wanting to see more. Dear Barry, my love of classic television led me to your show, I was so saddened a few days ago to learn that Steven had passed, I didn't know. I was looking for an email address where I could reach him. Long ago he produced some episodic shows in the 1970s, two particular shows were GRIFF and PARIS. I was planning to write to him and ask if he could try to get them out on dvd, as they have NEVER been released. Now I fear They may never see the light again. I will revisit your great interview with Steve. You asked him some great questions, thoughtful and beautifully expressed, with sincere appreciation for the man. And this programme has built a new Bridge, for now I will seek out more interviews and programming from you Barry. If you have any more information on your intetviews/ links/ websites I would be very interested to know. Warmest wishes Barry, keep up this fabulous work. From Rick💖✋
