Cole is so intelligent. Just growing up with him and Dylan it makes me emotional because I've been there on this journey with them since almost the beginning. To see them become extremely intelligent young men is very refreshing.

Just because you see him that way that doesn't mean you can ignore the Aromantic Asexual narrative.
I would have liked Jughead as asexual or rather aromantic. everyone's kinda done the gay coming out story and its still a relevant issue. but its in about every teen sitcom/drama I'm glad Kevin is out in this rendition. and i think asexuality is kinda on the fringe of understanding, it'd be cool to explore that. But if he was with anyone I'm glad its Betty, they've always been close.

i literally love cole so much he's an expert at communication. he's got this endless array of vocabulary, he's just so eloquent and understanding and concise with his sentiments when he speaks he makes you want to drop everything and listen because he puts it into this brilliantly rounded perspective and i'm just in awe god he's great

He's so well spoken. To me that is so attractive. I mean how many 24 year olds go around using the word linchpin? He's such a talented and thoughtful individual. I think that is one of the reasons he has the depth and breadth to play such a complex "holden caufield-esque character. He has the intellect to truly understand that character and what he needs to be. I think it's amazing and speaks to his character that is so interested in exploring an asexual character and providing representation of that on such a wildly successful show. I have so much respect for him and can't wait to see more from him. I never thought I'd be saying this about one of the leads from "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody". Add the fact that appears to be a ridiculously well adjusted former child star, and I'm even more blown away by him.

As an asexual, myself, I would LOVE for there to be more exploration with Jughead's sexuality and romantic orientation within the show. Asexuality and aromanticism are rarely ever talked about in the media, and for once, there at least needs to be a character in a show/movie that identifies as that. The rest of the world needs to know that not everyone is interested in those kind of relationships with anyone. I'm also kinda sick of seeing all that lovey-dovey stuff that is shown or mentioned in almost everything I've ever watched.
i mean he still could be asexual, and that "lost" side of can be communicated through a sub plot where he doesn't want to take any steps further than just kissing. But i'm not sure if that's really goes with the gossipy dramatic tone of riverdale, and even so it would only be explored for an episode and have an easy as pie cliche resolution tho

Yeah, I always figured that Jughead's Riverdale version was more demisexual. I personally think it makes him even more interesting if he's on a spectrum rather than "black-or-white" categories. As you said, some people who consider themselves asexuals enjoy sex

just because jughead isn't aromantic doesnt mean that he can't still be asexual. Maybe on the show they'll make him heteroromantic/asexual. There is such a huge difference between being asexual and aromantic. You can be both or maybe just either one. Just because juggy is with betty doesn't mean he can't still be asexual. Just that he's not aromantic
As a kid I always loved that Jughead was never in a relationship. He was away from all the other drama that surrounded that and it was a great break from the love madness the other characters had.

jughead has always been asexual but it was only explicitly confirmed since 2015. jughead has never shown interest in anyone sexually and there are very few issues that show him being romantically attracted to anyone either.

As a Heteromantic Asexual and someone who's had a huge crush on him since 2008, it's very refreshing to see one of my favorite Allosexual childhood actors show their support for the community by dedicating their time to do research for the character and that makes me appreciate him more unlike certain people who constantly promote Bughead on their Twitter account (*cough Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa *cough). I hope they make Jughead both Aromantic and Asexual because I'm so tired of the Bughead narrative, especially after the fact that Cole and Lili broke up and the stupid Sprousehart crap that's been happening for the past few years. Not to mention the fact that despite the fact the Cole had confirmed them breaking up in January this year and didn't say anything until around mid July, some Sprousehart fans are convinced that they're somehow lying in order to protect their privacy and are still trying to find "evidence" to support their claims and it's honestly stupid and pathetic. Anyways, I don’t think that Bughead will last because of Betty and Archie kissing each other behind Jughead and Veronica's backs and if they find out about it, let's face it they will, it won't be pretty. I didn’t mean to go off on a tangent, but I hope they do a good job of portraying his Asexuality if they actually do it, otherwise I don't think I want to continue watching the show anymore.

1. He articulates everything to the point that I can use this to train my english listening skill
2. The way he address different story and opinions from others not only shows that he did a lot of researches about the show and characters but also how prove how intelligence he is.

Cole Sprouse gives really great interviews and I like his opinion about being an actor and how (not) having influence on the story! :) And it would be cool if they'd still make Jughead asexual. I mean, he can be asexual and still be in a relationship. Everything's still open ;)

I thought that Coles choice of words really brought the meaning to it. Even though he seems like this cool, jock, not so nerdy guy, he's pretty nerdy though, but i think that's perfectly ok! Everyone's special in their own ways. I just can't believe how much Cole and Dylan have grown from their careers as a child. It's so fun to see them grow in their acting experiences, and how they feel partly comfortable with doing sexual stuff on the show, and in my opinion that takes courage!❤
