One's taste in music aside, Western Pop will never be able to compete with K-Pop on the whole sex appeal front for sure, partially because it'll just never be allowed cause of public taboos on this kind of act. They've tried some stuff like twerking cause it's controversial but it just comes across as kind of tasteless, forced and hardly sexy in a lot of cases. K-Pop seems to have dozens of idols with practically flawless bodies, long legs, soft facial features and silky smooth hair whereas I can't think of one Western pop star ever really like this. This kind of goes for all Asian music too. For whatever reason Korea just seems to have the sexiest idols by far and despite what some of my friends claim I think it's the reason it's gotten such a strong global following in recent years.
