    Great video ! Thanks for this review! 👍👍 I Have the same and it definitely resets after 7-clicks (all loads disconnected)

    4m40s: To reset the setting remove the load, remove the 12V power supply. Reconnect the power supply and press the mode button seven times. This will reset the adjusted cut voltage.

      I cannot get it to work, tired various different speeds, can't get it to reset

      @@SimpleElectronics Sorry about that! I got my unit today and this procedure is written in the manual and it's working. May be a newer firmware?

    • @SeliJue
      @SeliJue 3 роки тому +1

      The manual says: (5) consecutive seven hits at no load making the current zero accurate in the current temperature environment. Calibration is zeroed for accurate measurement at low currents. Factory reset all parameters. (I believe the Chinese text isn't very well translated into English from the guys ;)

      @@SeliJue Thanks for the info but yeah you must have newer firmware, mine does none of that!

      Doing this also resets all the stores data, everything is back to zero.
      Using this method as a stop point in a capacity test isn't feasible, as there's no chance to read the data before it's reset (unless I'm mistaken?)

    The software needs to be rectified, I think the Microcontroller is N76E003AT20 by NUVOTON, it is the cheapest u-controller that compares to ATMEGA one

    Referring to the electronic load 150 Watt that was purchased by me 1 year back. Unfortunately the Green LCD Screen external connected attachment is not working. Actually I require an external Green LCD Bracket that is attached to the Electronic load. Could you contact the manufacturer of the electronic load and update me accordingly???????
    I require a green lcd external attachment module with the push button as shown in the video.

    I have seen other units like this one were you can click down on the course or fine buttons to set and reset functions or turn them to scroll through some menus.

    Well explained. Too bad you don't say anything about the RxT/TxD interface. Have you tried this interface?

      Comms are a bit above my head, for the moment, but I do plan on looking into it over time!

      @@SimpleElectronics I was hoping to be able to log through the port. Unfortunately I can't get any data out. Maybe this port is only for firmware updates. Too bad.

      @@hedo3d I'm trying the same thing. I was hoping the video had a bit of info too. It would be nice to have a battery discharge graph plotted over time. I'm fairly new to comms myself.

    Or if you remove the battery. It's a common load igbt. I'd bet my life it's using an stc controller

    At time 2:27min you had default

    • @SimpleElectronics
      @SimpleElectronics  2 роки тому +1

      It's a pain in the butt, you have to connect it to a higher voltage source and then triple click and hold to get it down to zero again

      @@SimpleElectronics that doesn't work with mine but I have found the easy solution to reset to zero based on your video.
      First put a higher voltage for ending the beep loop.
      Then press the button 7 times and wait.
      You will hear one short beep for confirmation.
      Done! Hope this helps.

    I'm surprised you didn't consider the UI a complete dealbreaker. That's some awful design.

    • @SimpleElectronics
      @SimpleElectronics  3 роки тому +1

      yeah it's a tough call because it does discharge at 150w...it does its job and it is cheap as hell, but man is the UI ever disappointing!
