Elf Movie 2 (2022): Elf Control

Mr. Upton becomes Grinchy before the holidays... but it's not his fault! Can he be rescued?
"Making of" notes:
The first film was well-received, so a second one made sense, this time with a more complex plot.
The working title was "Good Elf : Bad Elf" and would be a struggle between a good elf and a not-so-good elf.
This film took a couple of weeks to make because there were more scenes, and a set had to built for Naughty's secret hideout. It was made from a cardboard box with crumpled brown paper for walls, and star-shaped Christmas lights (which later appear on Arthur's police car).
Naughty's machine was made of cardboard with battery-operated LED Christmas lights.
The retro 8-bit-style text messaging used by Arthur was made by filming a Commodore 64 computer (1980s technology).
Did you notice? Arthur watches Mr. Upton go to sleep.
The dream sequence was filmed in a dark room lit by a single red light bulb.
Arthur shoots the machine with a magical candy cane, which was filmed by shining a green laser through a thin layer of smoke.
Naughty's hideout and machine had to be set on fire in order to film the machine's final destruction. The fire was quickly put out by pushing the burning set into a large sink full of water.
The machine, as shown in the final "it's still alive" scene, is the same one from earlier in the movie, but burnt.
