I was looking to watching your vlog all morning and of course it didn't disappoint! I was surprised to hear you mention my comment from yesterday too! And by the way I still think your skin looks beautiful even if it is a little dry haha!
I can't wait to see the project you're working on. It looks interesting. I ended up on Amazon for the bone folder, you got lucky, I wish we still had shops like that here. They've all gone away =(
If you have some extra money to spend on some (expensive) skincare, the Murad Perfecting serum and the Philosophy gel-oil mask have worked wonders for me and my super dry skin. I also have rosacea and cystic acne, and both products don't cause any flare ups. So if you have sensitive skin, they shouldn't cause problems!
I had really dry skin mid last year so I started using the product Full of Grace Serum from Lush and it helped so much! I apply it after cleansing my face and let it sink into my skin overnight. My skin isn't dry anymore but I still use it because it makes my skin feel really nice. Maybe try that? 😊
Ah yay you got a Happy Planner! They're so great. I'm not a very organized person and it keeps me motivated. I'm jealous your Michael's has the mini planner.
Those folders often need some attention with fine sand paper and some steel wool. Finish up with a rub of beeswax or paraffin wax. Advise from me, a bookbinder since 1979.
$30 regular price for that pad of paper? If you're near a walmart with a fabrics & crafts department large enough for scrapbooking supplies they have pads of 50 starting at $5 (USD, so it might be different with CAD). They probably don't have as big of a selection as Michaels but my local store recently expanded theirs and they have some pretty patterns. Not all walmart stores have scrapbooking sections due to space constraints but it's something to look for if you go there sometime soon.
For the skin peeling, i recommend looking into dry skin creams! I use a light amount of the Walmart brand dry skin cream and it helps prevent skin peeling in the morning (even though usually I don't have problems with having dry skin because I have usually oily, sensitive skin).
Gosh, I would have thought dry skin wasn't an issue in Vancouver, with the humidity. Have you tried coconut oil? I use argan oil on clean skin before moisturizer. Really helps me stay almost dewy looking. Cheap at Marshall's/winners.
Of all the glitter Michael's has, I only have those yellow stars that you picked up. I've used them once and they sit in my art room and I look at them and they're pretty. Haha! I couldn't resist them either.
My first comment on one of your videos, Baylee! I personally loove the videos where you're buying new materials because I can have a look to those amazing craft stores. In my country, artists have a HARD time finding even the most basic art materials. :( People in the craft stores that we have don't have a clue of what a brush pen is. The new planner is beautiful! ♡
I just discovered your channels maybe 2 months ago, and I love it^^ I really like your daily vlogs, too. And I'm super curisous to your "bookbinding thing"...since my profession is bookbinder xP...No pressure! ...well maybe a lil bit ;P
Ah, that's okay with the skin, Baylee. It's the cold. I didn't even know crafting tape existed. XD I need to go to Michael's and/or Hobby Lobby soon (probably Hobby Lobby), so I hope they have as good of a sale as they have by you! :)
Hey Baylee, just wondering, what are some other art stores you go to? I was wondering since I really want some new markers (any kind) and would like to know where you go.
Lmao I feel you on the dry skin thing. I have to use hand cream like 5 times a day because my hands just crack open and bleed because they're so dry. I'm lucky my face doesn't get as dry as that though. Can you imagine bleeding from your face everywhere?
Read the ingredients on any of your lotions and stuff because some have alcohols , at first it feels like it moisturizing, but eventually it makes it worse. Thats how they make you buy more, marketing.
Holy Shit. I shop at the same Michael's as you. And that apartment building you can see from your cat hammock room is where my best friend lives. God I hope that didn't come across creepy.
Woah I've never played sorry where if you're in the safety zone and you get a number larger than what you need you go backwards. Is that an old sorry rule or a new sorry rule?
Hannah Roberts I've never played that way either, I was really surprised! Though, I haven't actually read the Sorry rules, since I learned how to play when I was teeny
DeSerres, is my favourite art supply store, but I don't have one near me, anymore. =( Now I go to a "Curry's" which is similar but not quite as great. A butter knife makes a great "bone folder". The "sharp" side makes a great scoring tool too.
It's after 1 p.m. EST where I am and I have not gotten out of bed yet, but I also haven't slept since 7:55 Sunday Morning. Yay! :( It's a problem but I need to stay up to get my sleep cycle back in order. Also, your skin truly looking particularly lovely...at least from what I've seen on the vlogs. However, applying an oil before bed can help if dryness bothers you. Juicing a couple times a day may do the trick as well. Hope it helps.
You could try a sleeping pack for the dry patches :) its like a face mask you sleep in and wash it off in the morning. It doesnt stain/feel all yucky on your pillow. Try the korean ones! They are great! :)
Hey Baylee have you tried coconut oil? When my skin gets super dry it always helps, however, some people's skin can react negatively to it so if you do try it make sure to do a patch test :)
omg that worst cook in america show is hilarious. That woman you had it paused, i think her name is Jetta, is priceless. I love cooking and I think i'm pretty good at it, watching this show makes me cringe at how badly they cook, but I still like watching it :)
Baki I live in Vancouver (same place as her) and go to the the art stores with my grandma!! I love watching her videos to see all the places that I recognize and have been myself
I don't know why, but I always freak out watching these, and knowing exactly where she is. (I live in Vancouver too) Like, just before she was at the DeSerres (which I've also been to) when she was at the intersection, there was a Wendy's where I've eaten so many times. It's just neat to watch someone that I love and look up to go to places I've been.

Last time i was this early we had a good president
The girly Gamer I feel that
The girly Gamer technically (if you are speaking of trump) he is not president until friday
the babies have gotten so big! i still remember the first vlog they were in :D
I love your profile picture!
I love your shopping/haul videos so much!!!!!! Even if it's not art related and it's like food or something!
There is something so relaxing about watching the vlog and painting ❤
I was looking to watching your vlog all morning and of course it didn't disappoint! I was surprised to hear you mention my comment from yesterday too! And by the way I still think your skin looks beautiful even if it is a little dry haha!
we...need...Michael's...in..the ...UK...!!!
fibreartist oz Girl I feel you, it looks amazing
I get my Michael's fix from watching haul vids...sad lol
I agree, however Hobbycraft is pretty much the exact same thing.
we...need...Hobbycraft...in...NI...!!!
fibreartist oz and Australia!
Baylee, could you do a review on your favorite art books? Either the ones with tutorials, or just those that inspire you, like the Disney artbook.
you are so right
2:45 I have one of those planners! It's very useful and puts me in a good mood when I see the beautiful designs, photography, and lettering :')
Ohh how I love watching your vlogs! I really enjoy it!
You should try a hydrating mask it gives moisture to the skin and will probably stop the dryness.
For bookbinding tutorials and walk trough I HIGHLY suggest Sealemon' s videos
Lexou-chan yess
Lexou-chan yes!!
I love her videos
A few people I subscribe to are using those planners for tracking their meals, fitness, and weight loss goals.
I wish I was as amazing as you are at art. I love your videos!👍🏻 KEEP UP THE SPECTACULAR WORK!!👍🏻👌🏻🤓🤗🐱
I love watching people shop..I personally love shopping but yah know..it requires moneys :'D
I can't wait to see the project you're working on. It looks interesting. I ended up on Amazon for the bone folder, you got lucky, I wish we still had shops like that here. They've all gone away =(
Great video
I didn't even get a notification this was up and it didn't show up for me until just now
Oh Michael's the best!!!😊💗
Planner hauls are literally the best. I stocked up on happy planner stickers for my 'passion planner' this year. 😍
Nice to know my favorite UA-camrs are also a tad Poppy obsessed lol
I like the colourful planner :3

Wayne Essar Baylee please find this advice on bookbinding it might help you very much!

you should try having a bullet journal :D

You are going to love your happy planner!! You've just stumbled onto a new little community 😇
Gosh, I would have thought dry skin wasn't an issue in Vancouver, with the humidity. Have you tried coconut oil? I use argan oil on clean skin before moisturizer. Really helps me stay almost dewy looking. Cheap at Marshall's/winners.

Shop Leanne I have them too. I transfered them into a pretty glass jar with a cork and they just set pretty on my shelf as a decoration. 😂
Ahh that's awesome - I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! :)
I got a recollection planner too.

The new planner is beautiful! ♡
I'm sick, and a baylee Vlog IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED!!❤
I just discovered your channels maybe 2 months ago, and I love it^^ I really like your daily vlogs, too. And I'm super curisous to your "bookbinding thing"...since my profession is bookbinder xP...No pressure! ...well maybe a lil bit ;P
I also have a happy planner
Eating a handful of nuts every few days helps keep your skin from drying out so much during the winter months.
hey baylee!
Ah, that's okay with the skin, Baylee. It's the cold. I didn't even know crafting tape existed. XD I need to go to Michael's and/or Hobby Lobby soon (probably Hobby Lobby), so I hope they have as good of a sale as they have by you! :)

I love watching your videos. I'm like you, I just bought some new art supplies and I cant wait to use them .
How much did you pay for the planner if you don't mind telling me? I've been looking for a new one and the ones you vlogged are way cute
+Shinespark $15 CAD
I just woke up 😂 it's almost 10 for me that's early
Milagros Aquino same I usually get up at 2:00
John Doe same
lol i wake up at 6:00 during the week and 9:00 on the weekends
You can try grape seed oil for the skin. It works wonders on small wounds too, the healing process is super sped up :)
Sees Bayles at Michaels and is jealous* *has to remind self that I'm going to the local art store next month*
Read the ingredients on any of your lotions and stuff because some have alcohols , at first it feels like it moisturizing, but eventually it makes it worse. Thats how they make you buy more, marketing.
You could do a beauty and the beast drawing and "color it" with glitter. It looks like the perfect color too.
Just a suggestion. 😊
Now I'm excited to see the project
I was just at that Desseres on Saturday! Picked up a handful of those touch markers you showed and a box of col erase coloured pencils. XD
I find that if I use too much lotion, my face dries out like that. Maybe that's why your skin is dry?
Holy Shit. I shop at the same Michael's as you. And that apartment building you can see from your cat hammock room is where my best friend lives. God I hope that didn't come across creepy.
My finger almost suffered from a whiplash I clicked the video so fast. (I wasn't early, I just was very enthusiastic.)
XD
I love happy planners. I recently purchased one of the medium sizes , they're so cute . I've never played sorry but it looks like fun!
That's the rule in the old version and the new.
Bumble Baylee woahh I feel like I have to completely reevaluate all my childhood games now!
Baylee drink more water!! I'm pretty sure you do, but I personally have a problem of hardly drinking enough water lol.
I'm pretty bad for not drinking enough! Then out of nowhere I feel like I'm dying of thirst and I finally drink.
Bumble Baylee :D
DeSerres, is my favourite art supply store, but I don't have one near me, anymore. =(
Now I go to a "Curry's" which is similar but not quite as great.
A butter knife makes a great "bone folder". The "sharp" side makes a great scoring tool too.
Today's vlog was really fun :)
Yeees! Where are all my planner girls at?? That happy planner makes me so happy! hahahha! Baylee was that the michaels in downtown vancouver??
Market Crossing!
It is so dry! I live in Alberta and my skin is awful too :(
Normally my skin is fine because Vancouver's so humid, but this winter must be dryer than usual!
Baylee I would recommend Pons cold cream it helps with my dry skin and I have super sensitive skin so it does not irritate it .
Obviously they are suuuuper moisturizing
have you ever try sheet mask ? they are really good!

I don't know why, but I always freak out watching these, and knowing exactly where she is. Baylee you should do an art challenge where you can only use the chisel side of the copic markers🖋
I don't think I want to know what's in Michael's "'Bone Folder".
congrats on 140,000
Omg Jacobs laugh xD
Hiiiiii,Luv ur vids

You could use that yellow glitter for something Belle related
Also try the clinique moisturizing over night mask. apparently it's a miracle worker!!!

Hahaha I thought Kiki was just floating in the air for a bit at 6:11
Yay early
I just went there yesterday!
I always love the kitties! 😻😀
1:50, well past Baylee do I have good news for you!
I love your shirt .w.
You should make a bullet journal ,☺️
For the dry skin put some Aquaphor on it overnight. It will completely solve the problem :)
I'm early.
You should get the cats some cat wine 😂
