Even in the state of West Bengal in India, we have a ceremony called "Annaprashan" when a baby eats for the first time. The word "Anna" itself means rice/food.

I’m Hindu Indian and one of our foods is dhal batt it has rice in it. I depend on it to keep me healthy with a lot of other healthy Indian meals. If rice disappears to me that will be a problem because rice also contains nutrients and nutrients are important. It’s so sad seeing a nutritionist crop disappearing. Love from USA 🇺🇸

    Script in Spanish:
¡Comparte Bangladesh!

I’m Bangladeshi and as probably expected, I eat rice everyday. Unlike my parents though, I only have it for dinner and sometimes lunch because there’s a lot of other foods I like to eat. My parents are always eating rice though, and the amazing thing about rice is that I can eat it with vegetables, meat, and in a lot of different ways! I’m glad this video acknowledges what is happening to our earth and about floods in Bangladesh and other countries. I have never experienced a flood in Bangladesh though because my family moved to Canada some time before I was born, but it’s great to hear more of this on this channel!

You'll know that we eat our breakfast, lunch, and dinners with rice so if you see us taking another scoop of cooked rice then the food is delicious. Hehe, even during snack times there are lots and lots of snacks made with rice like suman, champorado and others.
