OMG 🤮 Eric makes me sick He only went to Bridgette to discuss the affair to try and get her to support and stand up for Brooke Bridgette’s parents are the worst.
Exactly....!! It CANT be compared! Stephanie got pregnant before her involvment with Eric and has her entire life, been in the dark herself! Learning the truth a year ago about the paternity and withholding it, not to destroy the family ! Nothing in this can be compared to Brookes history with all the men in the Forrester family or Deacon
So now, _finally,_ Eric speaks to his daughter about what happened with Brooke and Deacon. And it's only so he can persuade her to be Brooke's maid of honor. 🙄
Brooke: So you and Stephanie had an affair Massimo: No. We were dating before she got together with Eric. Brooke: Oh is that possible? I thought it was only possible at the same time. That look of Brooke: priceless. 🤔🥴
This time I'm going to write Ridge's line in capital letters: SINCE TAYLOR DIED I DIDN'T THINK I'D EVER BE ABLE TO RELY ON ANYONE QUITE LIKE THAT AGAIN... And he is not talking about Brooke! Bridget is is not the one for Ridge but she incarnate a type, the one he has always preferred to Brooke. Those are the few last moments of the old Ridge, attracted by Brooke but completely fulfilled by someone else ( Caroline first, then Taylor).
It's so ridiculous that these two men stand there and in their endless amnesia still remember how difficult Stephanie made poor poor Brooke's life. Oh, but that same woman meddling in relationships, destroying Macy and Thorne's marriage, forcing herself into Stephanie and Eric's marriage, and Ridge and Taylor's marriage is as blotted out of what little brain they have as the Deacon story. Gosh, Bell is doing everything he can to improve his mistress's depraved image. You can already see it in Brooke's devious face when Stephanie stands in front of her - her reputation has been rehabilitated by Stephanie's old story.
Right. Like big bad Steph had NOOOO reason at all to dislike poor little Brooke 🙄 They're both so stupid and gullible that it's no way they aren't father and son
@@annlavine3576 well, it's Brad's show so he is allowed to do whatever he wants with it. But his "vision" does hurt the show and everything his father built.
@@annieo6527 I think one would have had to start watching the show in this season, and never know anything about the history of the show, to not realise how much the writing is now skewed in favour of one character, to the detriment of others. You could actually feel sorry for Brooke, the way Eric and Ridge talk about the rivalry between Steph and Brooke (and hearing Brooke making herself the victim), and seeing those flashbacks, if you didn't have context, or the benefit of seeing what Brad's father masterfully built from the beginning.
Right. They remember every word... Lol But who cares? 😂 I got to see my beautiful Steph in her heyday ❤❤ But I have to say, Ridge and Eric's "memory" of why Steph doesn't like Brooke is very much skewed... They make it sound like poor little Brooke didn't do anything and big bad Steph was just mean to her.. Anyway, they did say Brooke told them "exactly" what happened.
I think the scenes are just for the viewers, Eric said that apparently Stephanie had Brooke against the wall, so that signalizes he's not sure what exactly went down there.
eric is such a loser father. he forgave brooke all within 5 minutes then went into protection mode when deacon came. but not one minute to check on bridget. what a loser. now he has the nerve to ask her to stand up for brooke not just for her but for the family he's so gross. how disrespectful eric is. bridget needs to grow a pair and say screw you.
"I wouldn't mind seeing Brooke come out on top once in a while", says -Brad BeII- Eric, as if Brooke hasn't _already_ got everything she wants, while escaping the consequences of her actions. Of course, this is supposed to make us root for Brooke in the upcoming confrontation with Stephanie, where (because of a retcon) Stephanie loses the moraI high ground and Brooke gets to judge her for doing something that isn't even half as bad as what Brooke herself has done over the years.
@Nick beat me to it. If walking away with majority ownership of your ex husband's company, bc his son wouldn't leave his wife for you, isn't coming out on top.. I don't know what is 🙄 Yet to see Brooke actually experience any consequences. And no. Not having Ridge bc he chooses to be with someone who is NOT her, is not a consequence of anything but Brooke just not being his choice.
The baffIing thing is, in these scenes it feels like we are actually supposed to _believe_ Eric's narrative that Brooke has been the show's perpetual underdog, when in fact she has been running Eric's company for a decade and got to marry all three Forrester men. Meanwhile, there are _actual_ underdogs on the show who keep losing and losing, and Bell doesn't care about them coming out on top once in a while.
Why does Bridget off an all people NEED to be Brooke’s maid of honor? Eric makes it seem like this is something the family needs to come together but how would that make any difference.
Eric's idea of "Healing" for the family, is always having Brooke get her way, at everyone else's expense (even his own). The way I wish bad upon Eric... He is the WORST father ever for thinking his daughter should forgive her tR amp mother, "for the family"...
And _whose house_ was it? Did the owner of the house ever agree to Brooke moving into the house in the first place? Does Brooke not have a house of her own to live in?
But...aren't you all the same ppl who say Brooke didn't steal Eric bc he wanted to leave Steph (which I agree with BTW)? Similarly he wasn't stolen by Steph.. She didn't tie up Eric somewhere til he agreed to marry her. He slept with her willingly and he left Beth bc he wanted to. Yes but stephanie saying that Brooke's mother was the tramp and she took Eric from her now proves to be the biggest joke. Eric was in love with Beth they were college sweet hearts. Stephanie butted in and eric was infatuated with her. Stephanie became pregnant and trapped him. Eric doing the decent thing left Beth his love to marry the rich stephanie and the baby wasn't even his. So stephanie has the gaul to say that beth took him away from her. Bad very bad.
