@@corey5050 im guessing it was a best of 3(2 legs each game). nicolas was from the winners bracket so he was gifted 1 win already, matias won game 1 and made it 1-1. then nicolas won the last game winning the final 2-1

@@Vakator-29 ahh no it was not a best of 3 nikolas was from the upper bracket which meant he didn't lose a single game until the final while the other guy was from the losers bracket which meant they had lost once already so if nikolas had to win he only needed to win once but for the other guy it was twice since nikolas had not lose even once until the grand finals

@@Rellz_yt there were 3matches played MATIA won 2 in a row and then nicholas won the last one, because nicholas was in the winners bracket he can have one bad game so that means nicholas can erase one bad game, so after he lost the 2nd match it was erased so at that point MATIA had one win Nicholas 0 so the last game was the decider game and nicholas won that one

Nicolous won winners final while Matias won losers final.
So nicolous had two chance if lose the first final (2games) he play again to decide a winner. Matias had to win the first final to play anather final.

What condition do it needed for a player to call reset on a match?
nicolas was in the winners bracket i.e he never lost a single match till the end whereas matias was in the loser bracket meaning he had already lost earlier and was in the losers pot, so nicolas lost the first final on aggregate and then he called reset because he had never lost earlier, however matias cannot do that as he lost earlier and was relegated to losers bracket

There’s a winner and loser bracket player in the final. Nicolas who Qualified via the Winner’s bracket needs to win just once on aggregate to lift the trophy

@@samuelkamau8829 in 'double elimination' type tournaments u get 2 lives basically. However in a grand final with all the eliminations concluded there will always be one from the upper bracket(2lives) and one from the lower(only 1 life). So in this way the upper bracket has to lose twice to be defeated however the lower bracket person only loses 1 game and will be defeated. It seems unfair when u dont understand the rules but imo this double elimination rules is one of the best in an esports tourney
