Hi. Nice Video of one of my favorite restaurant we visit in Florida. From 2015 to 2019 we are travelling once a year from Germany to Florida. And i was twice there. 2015 and 2017. It is not cheap, but they have very good dishes and some good chefs and the service was really good as well.
Wow!! I have never seen a restaurant like that before. Absolutely gorgeous! And the food looked soooo delicious 😋 Excellent video Jessie 👍🏻 P/S I'd love to go there ❤️
Very enjoyable video, the guy I believe his name is Jessie is so adorable. This place gets two big thumbs up in both of the two important categories: ambience and the scrumptious looking food. I look forward to dining there. My brother and his family live in NSB. I currently live in Santa Monica CA, but have been thinking of moving to that area of Florida as a retired teacher next year (when mortgage rates are more attractive). The beach areas of Florida seem so much more laid back, more authentic and with more down to earth people vs, here in LA area with the mega crowds, mega prices and pretty fake people.
Creamy mashed artichoke. That’s a very different way of cooking artichoke. We stew it in olive oil with diced patatoes, carrots and peas. Just another way is to stew it with shelled fava beans and dill.
We have stopped there twice, granted somehow the second time we ended up on the Blu bar side, and you can’t order off the Garlic menu. Weird. But can’t wait to go again.
@@MyDayOff yeah it was weird. You can order some items but not all? Cause my wife wanted the same thing she got last time and was denied. Super weird lol. But now you know!
We are headed to New Smyrna Beach in December looking forward to possibly eating there. Thank you. Defiantly O"Steens in St. Augustines my favorite. That is my happy place. Hubby wanted to not go to so I chose NSB.
My mom and I go there for special occasions... The Garlic and Dixie Crossroads in Titusville are tied for best everything depending on what you're looking for.
@emichels They delivered during covid, and the manager lived in the next HOA over from my folks... so when my birthday dinner delivery was a little off, the manager went out of his way to seriously hook it up!! Non-covid times, we absolutely go there for celebrations... the ambiance is amazing. The go-to 💯 spot in the area. Other than maybe Norwoods in New Smyrna, but the food is better at The Garlic! Seafood manicotti... I'm back on the West Coast and still wishing I could fly out just for dinner there!!!
Garlic has been on our to go list for awhile. I think a few years back they ran into issues with the health dept, and their ratings dipped. Nice to see them rebound. Will definitely check them out.
Some of the one-star reviews on Google should I pay them any attention or those usually disgruntled picky people.b who may have just had a one-time service issue
There are few other authentic places that are much better than this place. I’ve been here 20 yrs. This place is an overpriced tourist spot. But if you’re a tourist, then I guess this place is good for you.
The garlic sucks and way overpriced. $20 for a highly burnt hamburger, my gf got 4 very tiny shrimp in her pasta entree. Never again will my shadow grace their door with my money.
I'm so excited to move to St. Augustine so I can take a drive to this place. It looks So yum!!!
Nice place and good food.

We shall take you!!!! 😂
Goat cheese and beet sounds yummy. Let me give you some different salad recipe with slices of boiled beet covered in yoghurt flavored with garlic.

Yes NSB is a great area, tons of places to dine and lots to do in that area! Thank you so much for watching! :)
@@MyDayOff Thank you again. I believe NSB is also just about an hours drive to Saint Augustine which makes it close enough to visit easily from NSB.

Ohhh I didn’t know that! We will have to stay out of the Blu Bar!! 😂

Awesome hope if you go you love it as much as we did! Have a great trip! :)
When in Florida do as the locals ,eat fish ,oysters, clam, and other sea foods.
The Garlic is THE BEST restaurant around!!!!

@@mariahclaar7915 Yes and yes!

@@emichels Those rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroads are ☄️!
Me and my families “fave”!

Oh man! We’re going to have to look that up!!! 😂
@@MyDayOff One day I became aware of the ability to see the health inspection results of local restaurants. Sometimes I wish I hadn't seen that. Lol.
A must to give a try then.
“… so here’s the damage “ was a good humor. How much did the bill come? Not too much for what you’ve ordered
If you only knew that Flagler beach is way better the. New Smyrna.
We love them both! Any good suggestions for Flagler?
So how many pounds did you loose walking to the parking lot from the restaurant guys?

It’s definitely the place for me! :)
My folks are over 20 + years local, and it's always the go-to spot for amazing ambiance and great food. We've done a lot of celebrations there.
@@MyDayOff If you get a chance, check out Norwoods Treehouse! The food is... not as good, but the ambiance and drinks make up for it!
Stop
