Jacked up the price 300$ while I’ve been waiting for it to come in stock... dick move, no other company is jacking prices up right now
Hopefully when everybody heads back to the gym and the demand is lower they will reduce the price.
Hey Stevie besides the one to one ratio on the Chi nine compared to the 2 to 1 ratio on the Chi six, how does the resistance feel as far as smooth this between the two?
Sorry for the delay. Both are equally smooth, but the 1:1 ratio is what I'll end up going with in my next G series rack.
What is the ratio on the G9 if you use one pulley
It wud be awesome if they add jammer arms to this machine and it would be the perfect home gym
Richard Toretto jammer arms are not really necessary tbh , everything u can do with hammers u can do with a traditional barbell or smith machine
It’s an option on their website when you order
Hey Stevie, is it possible to use the g9 for cable flyes and is the ratio 1:1 when using a single cable aswell as both
Hey Nick,
I don’t believe you can make the G9 a 1:1 ratio since it’s a single plate loading location. Other models like the G3 have 2 areas to load plates and when you attach a bar to both pulleys at once, that creates the 1:1 ratio.

stevie what would you recommend as far as leaving space behind the machine. i am thinking of putting this in my garage and have overall 9 feet of width. would that be enough space to be able to work around the machine, front and back? like if I kept it say 6 inches off the wall I should have enough room to load plates + do full exercises from the front? thanks!
I’d recommend a minimum of 6” and maybe, just to be safe, make it an even 10” to give you space to add/remove plates. On my G6 and MyRack I’ve kept them 6” on the G6 and 8” on the MyRack.
Moving around the sides is just as important, so make sure you have even space on each side.
Thats beautiful
Can you help me answer this question?
So the g9 only one plates holder for the pulley system, lets say im using the 2 handle pulley to do bicep curl, alternating each arm. Is the weight on each side of the weight stack will be half the actual weight? Hope u understand what im asking.
U know how the g3 have 1 plate holder on each side, so each side have their own loaded weight? What is the benefit of a single weight stack, beside u dont have to have use many plates at a time?
From my workouts using the G9, performing unilateral movements like the alternating bicep curl will be the full weight. That’s also because it’s a 1:1 ratio, so anything you do on the cable pulleys is the actual weight.
You’re also don’t have to use as many plates because of the 1:1 ratio. That’s my best guess as to why there is one area for loading plates.
Hope this helps.

@@StevieRichardsFitness thank you so much for replying!
How much indian price
Stevie would u say the g3 is still practically just as good or the g9 is by farrrrr better?
I’ll be doing a video on this question in the next few days. Stay tuned.
Please let me no the sale ends in 4 days and I have yet to decide I plan on putting it in my patio apartment I really wanna make the right decision I feel like the g3 is still pretty food
Do you know wen it will be posted
If it were up to me, I’d get the G3.
Even though it’s a 2:1 cable pulley ratio, I’m able to load each side independently- meaning that two people could be working separately. The G9 has one place, in the middle, to load the weights.
The G9 does include the leg press attachment, but with the money you’re saving with the G3 you can buy quite a few extras and still save.
Also, I like that I can easily swap Out the pull-up bar for a straight bar if I want to do so.
The G3 is definitely a better overall value IMO.

Thank you Steve, I plan on putting it in my patio and covering it with a tarp when not in use do u no if that will be fine in terms of not gettin rust immediately? I plan on covering it completely where nothin gets in
Hy Stevie, what is the inside diameter of the discs used for this machine, or the diameter of the bar that holds the discs ?!? thanks a lot
I think you can use 1” which is standard and Olympic which is 2”
Greate, thanks you...
The company doesn’t honor warranty claims fyi. Don’t buy if you think you might need the warranty
Can you tell us a bit more? why did you needed the warranty, which model you have, and what was the answer from the company?
Hi Stevie, great review. I am strongly consider to get G9 because of 1:1 pulley ratio. However, in forceusa website, it says that 1:1 ratio only works when using both cables and 2:1 when using a single side. Is it true according to your experience? I am just wondering that if we do lat pull down with more weights, it's kind of inconvenient that we have to put more plates. Thank you.
George Alamsah
You could put your bench in the middle and use a barbell with weights to hold your legs down and do lat pull down from there. The lat bar they have have two extra holes so you can use both cables.
You are amazing Dr.stevie
So the real question is can you do standing Military shoulder presses inside of the smith machine if your 6, or over 6 ,2 ? It look a little short ???
Marty Dennis
Doesn’t look like it. Going to have to stick with seated military press
Hey I know this is older video but I would really like to know as somewhat that is 6'1" will I have any problem getting a full stretch on the lat pulldowns?
It may a little tight, depending on the pulldowns attachment you use. I currently have the G3 and do pulldowns in the middle with plates loaded on both sides. Also, sometimes I do pulldowns with plates loaded on one side and do those from my knees.
If you do decide to purchase, please use the link www.forceusa.com/stevie
Hope this helps.
Hy Stevie,I have a question, if my room is l2.60mxL 4mxH240, could I use the machine correctly?!? Thanks you.
2,60 x 4 x 2,40..
Sorry for the delay. I’m not quite sure of the dimension you commented with, but here are the dimensions of the G9:
79 in (W) x 53 in (D) x 89 in (H)
If you do decide to purchase the G9 or anything else, please use the affiliate link and code at checkout. Thanks.
can you muscle up without the rack shaking?
If you have a plate loaded trainer like the G9, you have to weight it down using plates or bolting it to the floor.
To answer your other question- this is not 3x3. The X15 and X20 are the only 3x3 models in the lineup.
If you do decide to purchase the G9 or anything else, please use my link:
www.forceusa.com/stevie
is this 3x3?
Is the G9 the same as a G12 just with no weight stacks?
Does the left and right pulleys use individual weights or do they both share the weight?
The plates are loaded in the center and they both share the weight. However, it’s a 1:1 ratio like the G12.
Hello, what is your opinion on the g9 vs the g12 ? Ty
Get the G12. Save the G9 for me. Lol
شكرا لكم جهاز ممتاز
Hello if im going to buy. G9 or g12? I am buying if which one is better
Raymond Santos
Honestly I think the g9 is better. It cost a lot less. It’s almost half the weight of the g12 so you can put it on a higher floor. Also you can put up to 700lbs for cable weights depending on how thick your plates are. Not like anyone is going to use that much weights on cable but it’s good to have.
@@MrTriple268 ty
You need 50mm weights, is that correct?
Yes I believe. Standard Olympic plates as well as most bumpers.
Great review Stevie. Can you recommend any Jammer arm attachment that is compatible with Force USA G9? Thanks
Johncyrus Umali it’s not a review, it’s more of a description
@@syntaxlies82 I agree. Stevie does not know what a review consist of. This is the reason I unsucribed from Stevie's channel.
Thanks for the review. Is the G6 worth the price over the G9? Thanks.
If you want a weight stack, it definitely is. I plan on reviewing the G9, which I feel is an amazing value if you’re good with using plates for the cable system.
How are the cable flys Stevie is it smooth when you use it?
Yes they are.
Does this work with leg extensions and leg curls? Great video.
It all depends on how you use attachments with the cable stacks. I’ve seen owners use a bench with cable attachments. However, it seemed tough to get in and out of the exercise.
@@StevieRichardsFitness Hey thanks for the quick reply on an older video! Much appreciated! i had only asked that question because in the manual for this machine the lat pull down leg holders were called leg extension/curl attachment so i had been a bit confused!
I am 6'1" will be able to get a full stretch doing lat pulldowns on the g9?
So this is a FULL body training tool?
Absolutely. It doesn’t have cable stacks like the G6/G12, but you can add plates and work every body part.
Great detailed review thank u Steve
Thanks for watching.
Can I ask whats the size of the rack post is it 3x3 with 1 inch hole?
When is this gonna be back in stock?
It says June 1 right now.

I’m not sure. Try emailing them at support@forceusa.com.
Does this have dips
joebrown yes. Mine came with dips attachments.
Amr Marzouk Thanks.
@@amrmarzouk7298 Hi Amr, How do you find using both cable flys at the same time?
Ab Har Ab Har Ab Har it’s actually nice. It comes with extra metal chain to support the movement.
Hey, do you need 50mm weights? Thanks 🙌🏼
Is this your favorite of all the Force USA racks?
Yes it is. For the price, I really think this checks all my boxes.
