My problem with the remix album is the remixes struggle to build on the originals. As a result of this MitiS Remix stood out to me since it build on the original Stop Thinking, changing the Porter Robinson - Language melody in the OG into something more melancholic. The piano breakdown was the ultimate highlight, and that makes me disagree that you think there is a lack of innovation here and a step down from the original.
Kompany needs to make more melodic stuff. He made beautiful melodic songs like "Just like you" on NSD and even "Stand by me" but his remixes start getting boring when they are always brostep or briddim.

The Kompany Remix is my fav cuz its heavy and I like Kompany
Au5, Trivecta and Remnant.Exe Remix sound solid too and maybe the Mitis remix too
