Brush 166 Responding to a Person Trapped Under a Tree during Hurricane Florence (Helmet Cam)

Engine 162, Rescue 16, and Brush 166 received a call for a tree down with people trapped underneath. Crews arrived to find a subject pinned under a large pine tree and quickly deployed Res-Q-Jacks to the exterior and interior of the house to stabilize the tree and free the patient. After mitigating several electrical hazards, the patient was successfully extricated in under 10 minutes.

Was this the incident that made national news where 2 people lost their lives and a 3rd patient was transported to the hospital when a tree came through their house? Either way, keep up the good work and stay safe!
