How to Make a Thin Skin Poly Toupee with Lift Injected Hair | New Times Hair

- Lift injected hair is only possible for skin bases and it is the most realistic ventilation method for this kind of base material. Hair ventilated this way will create the impression that it is growing right out of the scalp as there are no knots on the base. The ventilation technique is actually similar to normal injected hair but lift injected hair gives a more natural appearance. Instead of normal injected hair lying flat on the base, lift injected hair will have a natural lift on the base. Furthermore, its hair direction can also be changed freely.
At New Times Hair, we can make the skin bases for lift injected hair very thin. The exact thickness of the skin for this ventilation method is 0.12mm and for most clients, these bases will last a long enough time. Some clients even prefer thicker skin base toupees which can lengthen the lifespan and also enhance the lift effect.

Can you use something like a flat iron or hot comb on this hair or will it ruin the poly?
what can I use under the micro skin to inject and not have a problem with the threads sticking to the base I always inject I have problems getting micro skin out of the mold and my injection keeps failing
Where does one get information about the poly blend used for these thin skin bases (or the typical type of poly elast material) and poly used in the repair of thin skins? Does the same poly formula for thin skin wig bases come in flat sheets and where would one get one? It looks like a poly base is very realistic. I'd love to make a tattoo out of this material for my arm, for Comic Con next year. :O :)

Thank you for this video. I have alopecia and bought a very expensive human hair wig several years ago. I suspect this is how the wig was created. I'd found the wig to be quite scratchy and thought it was the rough lace on the inside of the crown. Since there were 2 more layers beneath it (3 altogether), I cut out the rough lace out but now am finding that there are short hairs (1/16 to 1/8" long) sticking up through the next layer. I'm assuming they are attached to the "skin" layer. I'm wondering if I can put a layer of poly on them to lay them down (after removing the next lace layer). The hairs are sticking up everywhere so it doesn't seem as though any poly was every applied. Then I can put a new softer lace layer over it.
