Thank you Hillsdale College for the opportunity to listen to a challenging discussion on the nexus of theology and psychology. Well done.

I have throughly enjoyed this conversation. Dr Arnn I would like to request a conversation on Churchill with Darryl Cooper. You and him are very much at odds but he is having an influence within conservative views of history and I think we need someone such as yourself to present a knowledgeable position in an easily accessible format like you have here on UA-cam.

There is no Therapy without personal responsibility and Soul. Which is still 🤔 compatible with CBT, because being and knowing and understanding presence is inclusion of soul.

This promises a grand synthesis but it doesn't quite seem to deliver. Piefer in "Leisure the Basis of Culture" argues that work is quite distinct from contemplative (cultic) activities. They support and reinforce one another but are not to be confused. This is lost on Evangelicals who bemoan the Sunday/Monday divide and write of work as worship.
Besides the confusion of work, the classical world of virtue simply doesn't allow the self-wallowing that the modern therapeutic mindset demands and craves.
