This has a really cool aesthetic. I've saved it to maybe build on a new world. I watched a bit, and if you are wanting people to be able to recreate, it's super helpful to periodically have block measurements. When you initially show the footprint, or when you first did the roofline, for example. As a survival builder, it is always fascinating how differently we approach the same build. Keeps it interesting! Overall, a solid build. Ooh, I just remembered that I saw an enormous spruce forest in the world I just started. This would be perfect nestled in there. Now to find it again! 😂😂
Thank you so much for watching and the suggestions! This was my first take a build tutorial and there’s definitely things I would different next time so I appreciate it. Glad you liked the house!
I love the build so much! It so cute, the vibes are just right, and I want to build it badly, but I can't and for a couple reasons that can be made into tips! 1. So, the quality of the video for me doesn't seem to be the greatest, whether that be from lag or from something else, but at the start of the video I could not see or tell what blocks you were using at all. A list would be really helpful. 2. The cinematic idea of having the camera slow panning over the build is great, but I can't see what you're doing. I'm unable to tell what blocks you're using, the dimensions, or necessarily where you're placing them. Adding dimensions and bringing the camera in closer to show what all you're doing would be really helpful. 3. It's quite a bit fast paced. It's understandable the desire to make it faster so that people won't get bored, but I'd rather watch an hour-long video detailing the build and how to recreate it, than not be able to build it. Now of course none of this is hate and you can go about making your videos however you may choose. These are just some things that I know would personally help me if I were to watch a video on how to make a build. The tips are not intended to come off as hostile in any way and I do apologize if it seems that way. You are a very talented builder, much better than I, and that is why I watch videos like these, so I can 1, make cool builds, and 2, improve. The build was very impressive and so detailed, and has definitely earned a like from me!
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment!! I have definitely improved some export settings since this came out, my new videos are much high quality. I was trying out something with the tutorial and you put a lot of my feelings into words as well. I’m glad you enjoyed the build regardless and if you end up following this even somewhat I’d love to see it in my discord!!
the soothing music
Love me some animal crossing music
