Your videos are such fun for all of us - excellent playing, brilliant tones and tipps...and some of the greatest facial expressions since Steve Vai ;-) Leon - thanks! 🤘
Hey, Leon, I was on my way home this afternoon and Playing God came on my Spotify playlist at random. I thought to myself, I'm on my way home from work, the sun is shining, and I'm rockin' out to Ragdoll, it doesn't get better than this. Love the channel, love the music. Thanks, man.
Very timely vid. Turbo is in the mail. I will probably futz with the Morley as that is my wah of choice historically. I have the Morley mini exp so we'll see how that translates on the feel/sweep side of things.
@@LeonTodd I downloaded Matt's Chuck Mangione preset to see how it translates. It has 2 synth blocks. One that I can theoretically dump. It also has a tonematch block it looks like but I don't know what it's doing.
Great Video as always, thanks Leon! Is it possible to use an expression pedal with a toe switch to switch on the wah or other fx? This would be very important to me. Thanks in advance, love your content!
Juicy lead tone with all that delay, verb, and wah! The FM9 Turbo is my favorite guitar computer. I like it better than the QC or the Helix stuff. Maybe one day down the road... I will get myself one.
Sounds great man. Outstanding. I either lost or misplaced my Steve Vai Morley or it was stolen. I'm going to have to get another Morley. One with the boost for leads. Wah is for sure an effect I have to have. ♥️🤘♥️ Good video sir. Great stuff and you also have a fantastic day my down under friend. I'm drinking my first cup of coffee planning my day. May hit the server to talk to you guys. ♥️🤘♥️
Thanks, Leon! Easier to see a video about this than actually reading something and a lot quicker... 😁 How do you get the seamless transitions between scenes on the FM9? Mine sound like I'm switching presets LOL!
Hi Leon or anyone else reading, I’ve heard people say there is an “elbow” in most sweeps. A tight elbow goes from high freq to low freq really quickly, like a funky quack. I’m trying to do the opposite, a really smooth, gradual sweep, almost like a volume swell. Are you saying I should be able to accomplish this by adjusting the level, and the min and max frequencies and no other setting? Thanks so much for the videos!
The function and control Fractal does I always like, but I'm with Adele. I don't like Wah. I did when I was younger and first started playing, but not now. I still enjoy your videos though Leon.
I feel the same way about wah as I do about coffee - I could live without it, and I have gone years without using it, but at the end of the day it makes my life that little bit more enjoyable :p
I literally have zero volume until the pedal is almost halfway down. I've tried everything. It sucks. If I press down on the pedal it engages really late and if done slowly you hear nothing, no sound, til almost 75% way down on the pedal. Tried evry auto engage option plus none at all, same result. Off to the forum I go I guess :)
@@Guitarest17 Yes it's dealt with yet my wah sure doesn't respond like others I hear. The first 25% of the pedal does nothing and the volume just isn't full through the entire pedal movement. All settings are copied from Leon's and others as I test. Even cooper carter settings. The pedal doesn't respond like others.
All hail guitar cheat codes!

Too kind, thankyou!

@@LeonTodd Must be nice to hear your stuff on the radio. 🇦🇺💪
hey Leon ! greetings from Mexico I love your reviews, your channel is excellent.

Awesome stuff cheers Leon
Thanks mate, enjoy!

Exciting! Now if only Cliff will get to work on some polyphonic FASynth stuff :p

Yes, I've got a video with the AX8 setting that up.
Sweet! what expression pedal are you using mate? Kick ass!!!

Amazing tips as always my bro!!

Ever try the Budda Budwah? I loved that wah. Only ever used a Morley once or twice but it sounded great.
I have spill over on for seamless switching and my wha hangs on too long, I'd like it to disengage when heel is down, thoughts?
What's the name of the song that you're playing here and in your intro? I really like that riff.
Ragdoll - Playing God
@@LeonTodd b-b-b-based, great tune buddy.

Sweet!!! Thanks!!!
That was wahsome!
Speaking of wah wah, I just bought a Fulltone Supa Wah for my FM9 and got to say it's worth the money if anyone was on the fence about it?

You can play with the taper as well as the modifier shape!
@@LeonTodd ok, I thought there might be a couple other parameters. Thanks so much!
Which song are you playing at the end? Thanks!
The lead stuff right at the end is from a ragdoll song called Rust
