Tragic Crash on I-75 Northbound in Chattanooga TN - 06/25/2015

- At 7:08pm on June 25, a 9-car accident occurred at exit 11 off I-75 northbound near Ooltewah TN outside of Chattanooga TN. 6 people were killed and another 12 injured.
This footage shows the state of the scene at 11:15pm, over 4 hours after the crash.

Awesome drone footage, I drive that route everyday except at 430 pm. 75 , 24 the ridge cut, the split. It's all dangerous these days. The guy deceased stuck to the front of the semi was someone I knew from dalton ga. Sad. Folks should always have eye on the rear view when coming to a quick stop on the freeway. I will eat thru some ass to get out of someone's way if they don't appear to be stopping
I always turn on my blinker when I come to quick stops like that. People notice your blinker, it just seems to get their attention.
It was just a matter of time before something like this happened. How many times have you in countered these trucks too close to you or other vehicles. On I75 I have come upon large and I mean almost a whole tire in road. Luckily I have been the only vehicle damaged. One torn my mounts to motor off. Damaged. I was left to handle cost. The trucks who left the pieces in road were long gone. We all must be very careful. I understand trucking co are only required to cover 1 million dollars of insurance. No life has monetary value it is worth more $ than any co pays . Trucking industry needs more regulations since they have done a very poor job of policing themselves. A very sad .sad story .sure they get tickets or loose their trucking licence but how comforting it that to the victims. They are still hurt and or dead.
