forbidden flesh/flame jewels drop from the exarch and eater fights. when you socket one of each that have the right matching mod, you gain the ascendancy node on the jewels. in this case he's grabbing the chieftain ascendancy node that makes your max fire resistance apply to your other elemental resistances.
2:45 I think that if you try to copy it into PoB using a character that isn't a marauder, that will happen. Just copy it back in as a marauder and it'll work.
I literally bought up a Soul Ascension and corrupted +2 AoE Wilma's Requital the minute you mentioned this build concept on stream (on softcore). I went with some aura investment on a Champion to abuse a bit of Haste Aura effect and Onslaught effect, I'm happy you uploaded this because I've had some issues know what setups to use to reliably generate Soul stacks. It's been fine on bosses and extended encounters but I'm not really getting stacks while mapping because my setup is a bit scuffed. Overall the progression has been incredibly smooth though.
Ziz, you might not like it that good gear is now more available (thanks to necropolis) but Im willing to bet that the player retention this league is better than last league simply because "casuals" dont have to sacrifice their private life as much. I for one have more fun this league than in affliction even though mechanically affliction was (in my mind) in general cooler.
See that would make sense But like people have let UA-cam content convince them that the only way they can engage with the league mechanic at all is to spend four hours building a fully optimized grid for a mirror tier wand When you can literally just throw stuff in once I'm a while and get an above average item (also it's broken in ssf since it lets you guarantee the base)

It's on the poedb under concurrent players. You can see both total and the percentage of current players to league start. Necropolis had 22k more at league start, at the same point now in the league it has 32k less.
It's under concurrent players at the very bottom of poedb. Necropolis had 22k more players at league start than Affliction but now has 32k less at the same point in the league. It might not be just because of the nerfs and stuff, could be that people burn out faster due to insanely good items being far too easy to obtain. Affliction was really good at making people play because you could chase those mirror drops or conversion drops in ultra juiced maps, and the mechanic was intuitive and fun. So far, mapping hasn't been nearly as fun for me this league to the point where I've migrated to sanctum, something I never would have thought about doing previously.
Not sure since I don't think you went over it, but with so much overcapped resistance maybe getting a grasping mail with cold overcap would be a good idea, that way you could probably drop some nodes on the tree and spec more into damage, though it might be super expensive in hardcore, I have no idea about hardcore economy, or maybe I'm missing something that would make this not an option in the build.

You can get wilma helmet with 2 anoints if the blight helmets are avalaible in hc. Corrupt them to rare and mythic orb to willma,

The helmet gloves have always been good it just took a buff to make them really really good.

Player retention is almost half that of last league, 26% vs 49% for Affliction. It's almost as low as Archnemesis and is lower than Kalandra.

He doesn't have that overcap. It is manually added in Pob config
