In 1974, Eddie Fukano came to the Rocket in Alomogordo, NM for a two week gig and was held over for over four months. I saw his amazing show many times. Between sets, he’d sometimes share the details of what a Japanese artist faces inside and outside of Japan. It seems that the dam has burst and the western world is going to see a huge wealth of amazing acts from Japan. I’m glad to be around to see it.
And Pretty Girls Too, IMO The Prettiest in the WORLD... but that's just me... "BABYMETAL" is just as awesome "In their Own Genre" of Music, but these Guys Should be "OUT THERE"!!! they are too .... They are..... I wish I could play his RIG... i would MELT the STAGE!!! METAL is BRIMMING with MADNESS!! From JAPAN!!! ✌💕🤳🐱👤✔
I'm hoping all the western visibility the UA-cam algorithm is giving them right now finally gives them the glory they deserve. Ningen Isu is an amazing band regardless of nationality or language barriers!
These guys may not be able to make much progress in Japan, but as a published metal and punk music critic since the late 70's, i can virtually guarantee these guys will kill it in Europe and the U.S.
And then covid happened and they had to cancel U.S., and I assume several european, appearances. I sincerely hope they plan to resume the tours as soon as possible. This band is incredible. It's like a great 70's U.S. or british rock band grew up in Japan and then time travelled to the future (now).
They are seriously killing it on UA-cam. American radio stations, American Idol, America's got talent--please give me a break. UA-cam is where a metal head like me goes for primo metal like Ninjen Isu. If you ask anyone if they heard of Ninjen Isu, I'd wager they heard of them on UA-cam and nowhere else
