For all the people saying an eagle eating a chicken egg is cannibalism. That is incorrect. A short analogy equivalency would be to ask would a human eating a monkey be cannibalism. Eagles eat smaller birds by the way.
also human females produce eggs internally lol
@@storminmormon8195 true, but I don't know what relevance that has?
Chickens and eagles are both birds (aves), with the former in the order galliformes and the latter in accipitriformes. Humans and monkeys are both in the order primates. Therefore, looking at the taxonomic nomenclature alone, the latter pair are much more closely related than the former. Considering DNA would make that argument even more striking I suppose.
The "correct analogy" would rather be to say eating beef (or pork, since the pigs we eat are basically more or less hairless mammals like ourselves) is close to cannibalism, and that is obviously nonsense. But it was just a silly joke anyway, and therefore it was supposed to be nonsensical.
Come to think of it, the most striking argument against calling that cannibalism is that that egg is not and never was fertilised. In a way, there is "no there there".^^
Thank you for your attention.
You eat monkey?
also even if it was, Chickens eat their own unfertilized eggs for protein and calcium (helps make better eggs). Im sure this lovely eagle doesnt stray too far from a similar path.
Eagle: I want freedom
Guy: do you want egg?
Eagle: fine by me

Feeding and being friendly with a Bald Eagle feels like the Purest American Dream ever.
In fact it is a federal offense. "Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act". This person is in violation of it! In short: A violation of the Act can result in a fine of $100,000 ($200,000 for organizations), imprisonment for one year, or both, for a first offense.
Oh my goodness that's bird heaven right there...I envy that guy to see an eagle up that close...what a beautiful bird...I think he just might come back...maybe he will bring his family.
So majestic!
I am so jealous! Beautiful bird!

Such majestic creatures!
He is so prestigious
I had a bald eagle steal my camera once the camera had a problem of taking pictures on its own do to cable problems. But some reason it returned the camera when it must have realized it wasn't food or somthing.
Lol
Wow it feels very funny to see a bird eat a boiled egg... The angry birds movie scene was rolling in my head... When the pigs tell the birds that they eat eggs...
America couldnt have possibly picked a better animal.
I love how you say good morning to America.❤😊
Bro that thing is gaint
It's just the average size
He looks very huggable
Bro that eagle be lookin like my sister in eagle form
Bad idea to feed wild animals
@@alexthurman6808 Yes, there is.
@@alexthurman6808 Well...
I tried it once. I fed a bald eagle and it choked to death. Technically, I had to put it down. It was in distress. It was choking on the plastic wrap. No worries though, because its mate was taking care of the babies in the nest. But, unfortunately, only one of the baby bald eagles made it because Papa Eagle couldn't keep up with feeding them all.
I stuffed the one I killed (did it myself) so I have it in the backyard to scare the rats away. Plus, it is a reminder of what a horrible person I am...reminds me to feel guilty all the time. But it does provide some nice shade during those sunny summer days.
The dead babies...well, I scooped them out of the nest and fed them to a different bald eagle who gobbled them up. I didn't realize they were cannibalistic.
Gross...they eat their own dead babies.
You could try an experiment in feeding wild animals - maybe you could hand feed a bear next time you are out for a hike? Tell us all how that worked out for ya?
@@alexthurman6808 You know, I think I'm staring to agree with you, that we should all feed wild animals snacks, like you said. Next time I'm out hiking in God's glorious creation, at a national or state park, I'm gonna bring me a bag full of those Twinkie's, snowballs and dingdongs. I'll throw them around the trails for the wild animals to munch on.
This could be a good thing...the ones who learn how to open the plastic wrappers will survive and those that don't will perish - natural selection at work! Plus, we can hire people to clean the forest - isn't this what persons who litter always say? "Throwing trash on the ground creates jobs!"
So I admit, I was mistaken. This goes back to when I wasn't sure whether or not to give snacks to the homeless. I thought if I gave them snacks, they would lose their natural ability to scavenge for food. Plus, they would lose their fear of people. Then what? So I gave some homemade snacks out at the homeless camp. But they weren't very appreciative. Apparently, I'm not a very good cook and they all got diarrhea and vomited.
If the animals don't appreciate my snacks it would be upsetting. I want to learn how to do it right. Do you stuff the meat down your pants before you go for hike? I don't have much room down there...I'll have to buy some baggy pants on amazon. In 'Jackass', they attached steaks on the outside of their clothes...is that your approach, the jackass way?
@@alexthurman6808 What are you talking about! You told everyone that there is "nothing wrong with feeding an animal a snack" and you challenged me to prove otherwise - but I couldn't, so you are totally right! There is absolutely no proof it is bad. I'm agreeing with you, you totally convinced me! Wild animals don't know how to feed themselves for God's sake!
For example, my neighbor's dog absolutely loves chocolate. Every time I crank up the heavy metal, the dog comes over and barks at my front door. I give him a chocolate bar which he devours like there is no tomorrow. The dog loves me and gives me kisses.
We need to work together on this. Every sign, in every federal, state & local park across the country that says "Do not feed the animals" must be replaced with "Feed the animals snacks and alcohol". I added the part about 'alcohol' because I am a creative.
This should also be addressed at all the zoos in America. All the children should be feeding the animals french fries. This will cut down
on the cost of feeding the animals and lower the admission fees which, in my opinion, is way too high at most of the zoos across the country. $25 for admission? Come on!
@@jkyoft78 Congrats. You have just confessed to having committed a federal offense and now looking at possible 5 years prison or 250,000 fine. Idiot
It's illegal to feed Bald Eagles fyi.

I had no idea how big egals were until i saw this video truly amazing birds
Anything for views and likes, stop feeding wild animals you are not helping you are hurting them. If they seem to be in distress call wildlife services and let the professionals take care of it.

People, don't do this. This is a very selfish thing to do to wild animals.
You make them lose fear of humans and it puts them at a serious risk, let alone when they look at humans as a food source. These animals are protected (If this was in U.S).
Also, people are weird, they find out an eagle trusts them enough to accept food from them, the next thing they think is to try and catch it/trap it and take it home.
You know how much you have to feed animals before they walk up to random humans and eat from them? Wild animals are stupid. They don't see humans as 1 entity and they can tell the difference between different humans.
I've fed animals outside my home for months and literally through generations and while they aren't terrified of us, they will keep guard and have a sense when they no longer will trust us. However, even at the same place, if someone else comes over while I'm out there feeding, they run. Even when I'm there and feeding them in a familiar and safe place, they're afraid of a new person at a distance.
Feeding 1 eagle once will not change it's behavior towards humans. People really just see animals as dumb things that trust all humans after being fed by 1.

@@ewokluv1 What if I work for the Dept of Fish and Wildlife?
@Zandre You are completely correct. At my work place we have stray cats and one of my fellow Union workers would feed the cats and pet them. Everyone else the cats would run away from.

Raptors can find their own food. There's something inherently wrong with feeding a bird an egg!

Those are hard boiled Bald Eagle eggs🙃
靠北真假 美國鷹這麼大隻?
Aside from the fact that you s
houldn't feed or otherwise interact with any wild animal, feeding a bird an egg seems to me to be cannibalism.
Birds eating the eggs of other birds is extremely common! Ravens and crows are notorious for this, but even some unsuspecting species like blue jays eat other birds' eggs too. Nature is brutal man.
Birds don’t give a shit about other birds’ eggs, they eat them naturally anyways.
Birds eat the eggs of other birds all the time...... they don't give a shit about stupid human notions like cannibalism.
@@Xallisto1 Fr, cannibalism is a term to describe the act of a human eating human flesh, not animals in nature eating to survive (circle of life essentially).
I feed my parrots chicken eggs and they seem to enjoy it.
So cool, talk to him/her. Encourage it to return for food. They will hear you n understand, we where once able to speak with the animals, society has dumbed us down, so it easier to control n hers us like sheep. What a wonderful thing you have here. I’m envious! The creator has noticed you.

The neat part about this is if there are any chicks around whether this be the father or the mother, when they learn to fly, they will come along thereby desensitizing them to you. Eventually you’ll be able to hand feed them.
Um........ Where in the United States 🇺🇸 did this happen? 😕 BANNED! 🚫😠

If you shoot it with a varmint rifle you could pluck the feathers and get $4.50. The talon is only worth .25c but hey. That’s still enough to make this the most valuable bird in the game
