  • Fishing an incredibly beautiful wild lake surrounded by mountains. This place is UNBELIEVABLE! Especially when we are catching as many fish as this. I has a few pointers on where to start, and also made quite a trek to a location I saw on google maps. Will I catch the big fish I came here for?

    You’d love wading streams for some native smallmouth bass in America. Up there with my favorite type of fishing/target species period. Getting an 18+ incher in a stream is a fantastic fight. 20+ incher really gets the adrenaline pumping and is tough to do.
    You’d be right at home based on what I’ve seen when you trout and perch fish in streams

    What a cracking place and the ideal spot to take the camper and family. Arent those little perch long and thin? the ones here in the Cambridgeshire Fens are much shorter but deeper. Not monsters but great fun fishing all the same.

    • @adventurefishinguk
      @adventurefishinguk  Рік тому +1

      Really cool place isn’t it! And yeah they’re very thin. I don’t think the lake is very nutrient rich, a fish of that length as you say would be loads deeper somewhere like a river or drain!

    You should order yourself some wet socks,not sure if that's the correct description. Wet suit material socks.they will protect your feet and help with the shock of cold running up your body.
