Super exciting roll! Tons to learn from such seamless transitions 🔥I have been working on understanding the Horse Collar grip myself and at :60 this is a great example as to why that Knee lever and Horse Collar from bottom crucifix was so powerful. 🤛
@zukaBJJ yes or you can matrix his k guard leg before he brings it behind you, dive to his hips. It's like most back taking entanglements in that they are Basically mirrored and whoever can elevate the others hips/low back off the mat will win the exchange most of the time.
Having a shorter hook than your opponent helps too. If you watch the miyaos counter berimbolos, you'll see what I mean - they slip their legs ao their knees are out of the entanglement and it gives them control of the position immediately.
