Thanks! It’s hard for me to believe how good it’s coming out. This week I’ve been cleaning up the interior and it’s really popping. Bumper should be here soon(I hope) and I’m searching for those sliders now.
Interesting Bro'. I have a 2006 Lx470. My evaporator needs to be replaced and that cost around $1000. My hood not close, I have to push back the cable from the inside. Most of men want to have those Lx and their driveway even though they have a pick up truck.
Yeah, this LX has been fun to put back together. I’m enjoying the process. It definitely will not be a garage Queen. I plan on getting it out and using it as a true 4x4. Are you planning to replace the evaporator yourself? I have found that most repairs on this vehicle are not that difficult as long as you have time to perform them. Thanks for the comment!
@@TheNonnell I just fix the hood release issue this morning. The cable was corroded with rust inside the latch. This AC I will let someone do it to make sure everything is done right with no freon leaks.
Can you provide part number or at least name of the part that supports headlights and front bumper. It’s shown on your video starting from 5:40. Thanks
I agree. Rock sliders are in the works. I cleaned the truck today and the running boards were/are heavily contaminated. I could detail it all out but I think it will be a continual problem to deal with. Sliders would do the job and be a lot less of a hassle.
Oh, while it was on the table? True. It’s a much better replacement grille, but not brand new. The table was clean, but you’re right, a towel would have been a good idea.
Thanks for making these - favorite lc100 youtube series to date!
Whoa, thanks! That means a lot. Plenty of LX content to come. Thanks for the support.
@@TheNonnell heck yeah can’t wait!!
The 470's looking good man. Can't wait to see it with the aftermarket bumper and some sliders.

Yeah. Good call. Pretty important job. I did same thing for my valve cover gaskets (for convenience and so it would be done correctly).

Yeah. That is the Bumper Cover Reinforcement(Front, Upper). Part number is 5202960010. Hope that helps.
Ditch the skirts, get a small step ladder. Rock sliders would be ok.

Not having a towel under the new grill while working on it is making me cringe.
Haha. Why’s that?
@@TheNonnell I’d worry about scratching the grill up as I put in the screws and brackets. Most of those are just plastic and scratch pretty easy.
