- CHELSEA SACK POCHETTINO... CHELSEA NEW MANAGER TIER LIST! Chelsea yesterday parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino leaving Chelsea leaves Chelsea looking for their third major new manager appointment since the new owners took over Chelsea FC. Who do you believe will become the new Chelsea manager? Chelsea are not set to be interested in re-appointing a previous Chelsea manager and are looking for a young manager...
There's a pretty good maanger who's just become available and is known for working with young players, Pochettino.
Hmm, but didn’t he end his last job on a long winning streak? We don’t want that!
You people got carried away by few good results end of season and forgetting how shit we were beginning of season . 0 tactical instructions and knowledge to young players , few individual players carried shit players , that the summary of the whole season there was no progress at all
@@casteltheghettomonk4392 yeah with bad players HE MADE PALMER
@@casteltheghettomonk4392why would the team be flowing in the beginning when the players have never played together we literally have the youngest starting xi in the premier league without thiago silva starting
@@maestrot8478 2 reasons why we played so good end of season .
1. Players fighting for euros spot
2. Contracts on the line , had nothing to do with poch tactics or instructions
Did the owners not scan the currently available managers and think no one available is better than Poch? Outstanding incompetency
Exactly!! Nobody out there that we are looking at are better than poch, its a joke!! And a disgrace!!
Poch is one of the worst coaches in the league
@@gabrielfoligno yet he got them to a final and semi final. Funny i didnt see Arsenal anywhere near the cup finals. He got them to 6th after having 55 injuries in the season. You obviously never played sport in your life. A team having to chop and change all season will never bring consistency. But your couch sitting ass will never understand that. Just toxic i bet you love watching Rory and Younes as well
@@gabrielfoligno i know we arent talking about the same poch who only lost 1 game in the last 15 prem matches
It obvious they have personal problem with Poch and Tuch and it logical they need a manager they can order around
Getting Poch out is a disgrace🤦🏿♂️
Talk to Egbali.
No it's not, that's what you plastic fans wanted
Poch is a fraud 😂
@@jrjr6558 No, Boehly and Egghead is a fraud.
@@jrjr6558 fraud for bringing this shit team from 12th to 6th with all the injuries we had? 🤡
We arent going anywhere with these owners just in circles
We need new Owners not new manager
Soon players will start wondering if this is what they signed up for if they haven't already
No big name will come to Chelsea as the owners and Sporting Directors want total control over personnel decisions. This is why Tuchel was shown the door, and why Poch agreed to leave.
Umm, you have it exactly backwards. Tuchel was shown the door because he didn't like his increased responsibility at the club. Now that the structure is in place, Tuchel is probably a great fit if they got along outside of that.
@@not_harrymaguirehe was sacked due to cocaine taking
They even want to make on pitch coaching decisions we are f*cked
@not_harrymaguire Tuchel didn't want to be temporary sporting director like he and Boehly were doing. But best believe is no Yes man and expects input on players.
Flip flopping about wanting a manager in and out based on every single match is a disgrace!
george has flipped a lot this season and many others. they screamed for poch getting sacked a coupe of times, and then when we play good with 5 games left they change their mind xd
All of the social media accounts have been the same all season. Pushing for poch to leave.
Fans with some sense knew to be patient at least until the season ended.
These content makers just thrive off of controversial opinions - they're genuinely clueless
@@pantzonfire1612does it get views and earn money?...I wouldn't say it's clueless in that sense
Thomas and Hose
Also just because the media has linked certain managers with Chelsea doesnt mean that Chelsea have even considered them
We beat De Zerbi. Why would we want him? We need to stop drinking the Brighton Kool-Aid.
If you want Mykhailo Mudryk to rape the defenders of Real Madrid again at the Santiago Bernabéu, then give him back Roberto De Dzerbi
Well we also have beaten kloop, pep. Would still want them.
what the hell are you talking about
Tuchel beat pep 3 time in a season ? Doesn’t mean he’s better
I mean put pep at Brighton, he'll most likely get rolled on by most big six teams.
George, i think what Todd wants is...
1. Puppet Manager, no say in all things apart from footballing matters.
2. Young manager who works with young players.
3. Coach and not manager, COACH not manage the club.
4. Tactical Coach, huge backroom staff, set piece coach, analytical coach, defensive coach etc etc...
People keep blaming Boehly when it’s really Eghbali doing most of the stuff behind the scenes
I genuinely don't care who we hire, because us sacking Poch shows that anyone we do hire won't be allowed to make his mark on the club or bring in the players he wants to implement his system/style. He'll just be yes man puppet like ownership thought/hoped Poch was. And if he turns out not to be then well, as we just saw, he'll be gone real quick
Exactly and it doesn’t help at all that the fans are like spoilt children calling for the manager to be sacked as soon as we lose a couple games
Gold fish memory - early and mid season was a disaster.
And artetas first 2 seasons were great were they? No they were not. Not saying poch is on the level of arteta but how can you get anyway by changing managers every season. This will be our 5th manager in just over a year. That is ridiculous
Chelsea used to change managers during Abramovich era. Even the one who won cup still got sack.
@@anatolyk9832 No shit sherlock. And then what happened? We improved. ALMOST like a manager needs time 🤡
Sacking poch is a big L for us. For him it’s not tarnished his reputation at all, probably the opposite actually specially with the way he turned things around
This is Chelsea my friend where time and results matter. At Spurs he can win nothing big all he wants until finally Levy told him ”You have won nothing “
not tarnished his rep??? Failed at psg and chelsea in the space of 3 years? Not tarnished nothing?
@@mkz2386
Agreed. Some fans just based on his last 5 matches results. Crazy! Poch is a professional and experience coach and not some amateur inexperience manager. He got sacked by two different clubs in a span of 3 years. Wtf?
@@Zaza1458-j5c mental that he made the greatest player of all time look shit and had neymar doing dm shifts, shouldve never signed him in the first place
@@mkz2386 Spot on bro!
I love how it goes who will be Chelsea new manager. More like what manager would want to go to Chelsea at his point already knowing you outcome
I dont want de Zerbi 😭😭
Well he isnt coming anyway. He is on the list of ruled out managers
The right profile manager that Chelsea wants is Cesc Fabregas. He was at Cobham before Pochettino was sacked, so who knows what happened that day. And that's why the rumour is about young managers
I think Chelsea’s shortlist is
1. Amorin. He’s a proven winner, he has the character, he has a possession based team with a stable defense. And Chelsea already paid for him to come to London. Not a shocker we want him
2. Hoeneß. He is not coming he’s staying at Stuttgart
3. McKenna. By no means am I saying I want him but it’s obvious why our owners think he’s good. I assume that they think “wow he took a team with nothing and in shambles to 2 direct promotions. Imagine if he was given the resources. Additionally he already has helped Hutchinsons development”
I think Amorin is first choice and if we don’t get him we will get McKenna
Should've kept Poch. I'd love to see Simeone. My top choice for a long time.
Good analysis. Thanks, George.
If we sell Gallagher and chalobah then get at manager from the championship we just gonna get mid table
My prediction for next season just dropped from 3rd to 8th... this is ridiculous
@@MajorMango28same I thought next season 4th was on but now I’m expecting anything between 10th and 7th
we will win the premier league
The blind leading the blind
Gallagher is just about hard work. No talent.
Changing managers doesn't help us you supposed to give a man more time he was going in a right direction I think it's unfair
It is definitely unfair, but next season, Enzo is coming back and he is a player that the owner will want to be playing day in day out whenever he is available, but he doesn't not work for Poch tactics as day in day out, maybe as a rotation role player
The only managers i would take are Tuchel, Nagelsman, Mourinho, and Amorim
Having a look at Bologna’s Thiago Motta would also be interesting
I knew this was going to happen... Poch wasn't the problem... it was the ownership and its "project approach" to a club that already won the UCL.... TWICE!!!
I would recommend Behdead Eggballsy & his capital team become Chelsea manager next season, let see what he can do with his baseball cap & rainbow scarf
Hopefully Chelsea gets one of those managers from Championship who will consequently bring Chelsea to the Championship. I thinks the owner would love to play in the championship
Plastic fan
I think this should be a yearly series
One name I don’t see many shouts is Jorge Jesus. Portuguese manager who is currently at AlHilal. He is a great manager, and did some unbelievable stuff with Flamengo in Brazil back in 2019 and now he had Al Hilal win over 50 games in a row. He knows what he is doing, would love to see him at chelsea.
Why is everyone acting like Tuchel is the answer. Last I checked Tuchel does NOT have a track record of developing young players. He only knows to work with seasoned professionals...
And Tuchel ran out of ideas thats why he was let go...you people forget very easily...
Well theres one person that springs to mind when you mentioned 'Special' Zi Zou
Theres nothink there that excites me, should of kept poch
Kieran McKenna is the man. Get him in, we'll get behind him. Young, energetic and plays a beautiful style of football that would work well with our squad. He speaks well, heck he even deputised for the Special One.
Thiago Motta:
2 seasons battling relegation in Serie A with Genoa and Spezia and on his 4th season gets Bologna to UCL.
Xabi Alsonso:
3 seasons in 3rd tier and 2nd of Spanish football then in 2 seasons at Leverkusen...well everyone knows that story!
Enzo Maresca:
1 failed season in Serie B at Parma and then one season with Leicester and they come back to the Prem.
Mckenna:
1 season in league 1 with Ipswich Town
2nd season in Championship
3 season Prem!
Why are we scared of Mckenna or Maresca but would be trigger happy to claim Alonso or Motta?
Before now lots of us wanted Pochettino to be sacked, including me.
Well, now he's gone. Actually at a time when we all didn't blame him for lost matches and at a time we didn't expect him to leave.
And all of a sudden, we're now seeing that Poch, was a better coach, at least compared to the heart break the media is giving us on some potential replacement of him.
LIFE!
you truly never value what you have (SOMETIMES) until you loose it.
Never felt so worried about our club as I do now. Need some positive news. We must keep Conor and Trev 💙💙💙
Bring in John Terry as the new manager!!
Chelsea FC new American owners businessmen Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and the Clearlake Consortium have in their very short tenure, gotten rid of 5 head coaches:
1.Mauricio Pochettino
2.Frank Lampard **
3.Graham Potter
4.Bruno Saltor **
5.Thomas Tuchel
(**Interim team management)
Not even seriously demanding ex-owner Russian/Israeli Roman Abramovich, during his glorious 19 years long Chelsea development (and chock full trophy rooms at Stamford Bridge home stadium) of 'The Blues', as easily trashed team management - and he did comprehensively dump a goodly number, if he didn't see results . . .
Claudio Ranieri
Jose Mourinho x2
Avram Grant
Luiz Felipe Scolari
Guus Hiddink - x2
Carlo Ancrlotti
Ray Wilkins **
Andrea Villas Boas
Roberto Di Mateo
Steve Holland **
Rafael Benitez
Maurizio Sarri
Anonio Conte
Frank Lampard - **
Thomas Tuchel
x2 - separate stints
** - temp team coach
Abramovich got results for the £Billion odd of he put into the club:
2 x UEFA Champions' League
2 x Europa League
Europesn Super Cup
World Club Championship
5 x English Premier League
5 x FA Cups
2 x League Cups
2 x Community Shields etc., which all helped to harvest $Multi-Million corporate sponsorships like Nike.
In 2 seasons in charge the new owners have laid waste to the experienced infra-structure of Abramovich, spent £Billion and gotten bugger all!
They do not know what they're doing.
Arsenal fan, I agree with alot of chelsea fans that you shouldn't have sacked poch
But I actually reckon de zerbi would be a great fit under chelsea, Brighton were massively affected by injuries last season and yes they conceded alot but de zerbi would get chelsea looking like a machine. I rate him very highly
As a die hard Chelsea I am slowly starting to dislike this club because of the current owners. They are so clueless.
Vincent Company got Burnley promoted to the PL. He was a poster boy. See what happens. Same goes for McKenna and Maresca. For God sake, since when did getting promotion to the PL suddenly become a pass to coach Chelsea????
No Thank You to Kieran Mckenna, Thomas Frank,Enzo, Kompany (going Bayern) No Thank You to José.
I would keep Roberto De Zerbi in that tier that you put him in.
Trouble waiting to happen TT he flopped at Bayern Munich and started off the first part of his last season here horribly. No confidence it will be any better for us. Btw we were very inconsistent in the league in his first full season.
Rubén, Xabi, Julián Nagelsman, and Xavi are my ideal Managers. The rest can stay the same.
The ideal managers might not want to come to Chelsea. Right now there is no champions league football. Job insecurity and a lot of instability due to the chops and changes. Lastly being a head coach it curtails independence. The last one isn't that strong though
Get Emma Hayes to manage the men's team.
I honestly don’t see us finishing in the top half of the table next season. They sacked a Champions League winning manager who has never finished below 4th within two months of their first season and just sacked the only manager that has been able to find success at Spurs. Our owners are not serious about winning and next season is going to get very toxic.
Tuchel ruined lukaku , he himself admitted didn't want to be involved in new project with young players !!!! His Fucking words + he lost the dressing room in Zagreb so either you know more football than TT and Chelsea or they complete idiots idk what else proof you want mate
You’ll do this video again next season I promise you
Depressing but true😭 might even happen before then
Potchetino had to go. 5-0 against Arsenal is unforgivable.
He gives so much opportunities to players who are failures which is even more painful
Why no more joint videos with Younes?
Folks wanting Tuchel back have forgotten how he threw the players under the bus
Exactly as he should! We need to cut out the selfish player cancers.....Go watch the great teams...almost totally selfless and the do the basic stuff to win. We will never win anything when 1 player takes on 3 or 4 PL defenders trying to score the selfish lookit me goal. That might work in other leagues but it doesnt in the PL...
i really dont want de zarbrighton
Dont worry he is already going somewhere else
Tbf I wouldn’t mind Amorim but still why get rid of poch
I would like to see the 2 sporting directors to be appointed as the next (co-)manager! It will be so interesting to find out how they can manage the missed big chances, and please get them sacked after 1 or 2 losses.
Tuchel came into Bayern in his first season only won the league because of Borussia bottle job in the last game and this season okay fair enough Neverlusen were amazing but Bayern finished 3RD and got knocked out in a cup by 3rd or 4th league club… I thank him for what he has done but PLEASE don’t bring him back
I don't no what we are trying to build, this is total confusion
Bottom line, no matter who we gonna get, that head coach thing isn’t working for us. Let’s look at the current successful clubs rn, Pep - manager, klopp - was a manager, arteta - manager. We need a manager that will have a say on what he wants to do
Excellent analysis.
I’d love Gasperini from Atalanta
i never wanted Pochettino to be Chelsea manager and had a horrible start. But lets be fair, it took time and he had the team playing well. he should have been given another year. Unless Todd Boehly has Carlo Ancelotti's signature on a contract he should have kept Pochettino.
I want flick he has a very attacking style of play, and would play a 4231, wouldn't mind xavi, poch, Amorim or nagelsmann. Ideal would be poch again, the players love and respect him, very unlikely though the chances of the owners rehiring him or TT, probably not going to happen 😅 what I will say is whoever the next manager is, they need to be backed as the guy, if the owners want them as the guy, back them as the guy.
Cesc Fabregas could be the best option for young manager
I think now he's had a couple of years to learn the ropes about Soccer Boehly should just make himself player-manager. He is THAT good.
Rafa Marquez is a good shout. Young, possession based, can straighten out the defense, immense leader. The only thing is he might have his eyes set on Xavi’s spot atm. Depends on how that plays out at Barca.
It’s clear to me boehly has taken a step back from the club and the directors are in control now. I don’t think boehly would have sacked poch. I hope we bring in Xavi or Amorim otherwise I don’t know who would be great for us
1 thing is clear,no matter how good the new manager will be,as far as he won't play the owners game,he won't stay for a long..
Great analysis George. I worry that our decision makers have blinkers and can’t look farther than Brighton.
Sacking Poch was kinda shock after securing spot in European footbal, but it was no unexpected. In my opinion Amorin and Nagelsman are great options, but it would be hard to sign them. Zidane and Flick are a gamble.
Poch was start shoving results and they sacked him, bit weird, but to be fair they should sacked him well before during a season, I love to see Frank Lampard again but it won't happen, then Eddie Howe or Conte
Do people not remember how bad our offence was under Tuchel at the end? Absolutely not.
Thankful for what he did - but stay a legend. A lot achieved in a short span of time. Leave it be.
One of your better videos, well done mate
How about Conte? His playstyle is a lot about defending, or cattenaccio (I think that`s how you write that) and he has proven to be good at the Premier League, let alone the fact that our last league title was when he was the manager
They can bring in who they like, it will fail. Sad but true!
In fairness re Kompany, I actually think his ideas and approach would be much better suited to a higher level of player.
Exactly
Why we never consider Simone Inzaghi to be our new manager, he's doing a great job for the past years
De Zerbi will be the coach. I saw that coming a year ago.
Yeah, the press conference in which they asked him about Caicedo. I remember people saying something along the line of watch he'll be at Chelsea next season lol. Maybe he'll feel at Brighton again 😅
Hope you are wrong about de zerbe at chelsea .... sounds like something has been agreed with him behind the scenes.
Tuchel is “No Thank You” for me. Everyone wanting him has allowed the Champion’s League win to cloud their memories of how crap his football was, how off the Prem title chase we were, and how shite his desired transfers were. If Pep didn’t overthink his starting 11 for the CL final, we would have been battered.
I believe Poch was told during that meeting that the club is selling CG and TC this summer, and Poch disagreed as he sees these players as part of his plans. Our owners see the situation as they own the club, and they decide who comes and goes. they see the manager as the guy who has to manage the players they bring in. They don't want him to build a team they treat us like a player farm to breed players for future sale. I think this is why Tuchel left and the reason Potter got the job, because he was happy with the owners working this way
So if the board 🤡s have decided to go for a young inexperienced manager we will have the exact same problems as we did under Potter ..WTF .. We need someone who's experienced and has won Trophies
We should go for the Sporting Lisbon coach to reolace Poch if you ask me
Why is no one talking about Gian Piero Gasperini? Is it just because he is 66 yo?
Gasperini is known for using a fluid 3-4-3 formation and a spectacular high-risk hyper-offensive-minded possession-based system, which relies on the versatility of his midfielders and front line.
TT, Conte, Ruden in the ideal list
Poch isn't going to Bayern. He'll go to Man United, finish higher than us, taking that 4th spot, also a bunch of players who loved playing under him like Cole Palmer will want to follow him and we'll have massive egg on our face. I had a nightmare about it last night.
Here we are again. Stability is not in our club's blood. After TT's disaster, now it is Poch😠 anyways always 🔵🔵
Mourinho In!
The next manager has to come in and win everything if something better than poch is going to happen
There could’ve been a clause or two or more that would trigger termination of poch’s contract if Chelsea doesn’t end up in top 4, drops below 10th place and so on. Most people wanted him out mid season anyway smh
George being one of them!
The saddest thing is that only the bottom half of that list are actually likely to get hired
We want Thuchel as manager petre Cece as sporting Director or Hansi Flik we have fell up of loses or let those Owners should live the Club We want Champion League winning Coach not those from Championship managers
We should allowed porch to continue with the players and we should go for strikers instead of coach
So how do you say Tuchel and Nagelman are the same but one is ideal and one will it work?
Ruben Amorim is the best suited to the Chelsea job
Owners should be apologising to Poch. Other than that you have massively over ranked Tuchel and Xavi in my opinion.
I’d love a madcap world where Mourinho comes in and wins the league next season
Owners have expanded the support roles, assistant coaches etc, young players on long contracts, they all here to stay. A new young coach will be given young players to work with and no say in transfers. Question is who? We have appointed all the elite ones available and not suitable to these owners. Amorim probably the name that excites me that might want it. Dont want De Zerbi
I would not be surprised if Ted Lasso is the new Chelsea manager.
The model need to change, that will determine the manager.
I don’t get the Amorim hype. Sporting did not get up to much European wise. And both Benfica and Porto are in a declining cycle. I’m not sure why people think he will be so good…
Actually the sporting directors, Paul and don't know who should be coach..since they have so many complaints about the coaching style, wanting certain players or coach, might as well just coach the team yourselves and save everyone the trouble
Cesc fabregas has just done a great job at Como
With our sporting directors there demanding a top 4 next year with there silly signings poch done a miracle getting top 6
Isn't Poch's contract up at the end of the summer anyway? And he kinda hinted at not wanting to stay. So this was the right move.
American people think soccer is like other American sport! that is why Man united and Chelsea are in trouble, we will win nothing with American sport mentality.
This is literally the dumbest take ever . As a American most coach’s here get a minimum of 2 years in every sport
Americans LOVE futbol....Americans are not why clubs are in trouble (see Liverpool AND Arsenal - both American owned). Its poor management.
In CFCs case its because the board want to be able to step into the locker room and swing thier egos around without any managerial involvment....This makes for poor decisions..Its bad administration thats the root of all of our CFCs problems, injuries, trade screwups.....the lot.....
@@King_Cosmic865agreed. If this happened at any NBA or NFL team, the owners would be getting roasted in the same way.
Not even American sports fire managers like that. Show me any team going on their 4 coach in 2 years.
@@DeeLove4ever Exactly. This goes against the basics of professional sports. Also goes against the basics of sport to kill momentum - supposed to ride momentum forward and respect it as much as any theories or odd stats.
We’re in a pickle. Because they don’t want a strong personality & ego manager (enough to manage all the other player egos), yet we can’t have another Potter 2.0 who gets swamped and lost (but would work with the front office who wants to call shots). At root, the owner’s group (whether Boehly or Egbali or others) are insecure and need to call all the shots in order to take all the credit and can’t handle a a manager with an ego of his own. We’re sunk until someone grows up and decides the team success is more than just “me.”
The board seem to have something against proven experience, why are they constantly after young upcomers which is always a gamble!
i would take for sure ruben amorim. cuz of multiple reasons 1 .young 2 .sporting (one of top club in Europe)
3 he might bring viktor gyokes or ousman diominde or any other players from sporting
