    10:25 | "I hear people down there...shall we assume they rode down there?" Then you guys drop into absolute gnar. Love it! 🤘

    Both myself and Jonathan rode the slab at 10:30 from the top high entrance, it's steeper but was still able to control speed.

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому

      +Trevor May I'll give that a try next time. What the best way to access that other than walking up?

    • @TrevorMay
      @TrevorMay 7 років тому +4

      The top/full entrance is off of 'Dirk's Diggler'. The whole rock slab line is called 'Bearly Adequate'.

    I love those trails. Still doing them on my XC (haven't upgraded yet), so sometimes a little slower than I'd love to ride, but amazing riding in the area. Again, great camera work and high quality videos. I'm really glad to see that you're talking/commenting more than over the summer. It starting to make your videos really fun and interesting to watch

      +Norquay glad you're, enjoying them. The commentary definitely helps i think. Sometimes it's hard to remember to do so!

      Lol, just remember, Claudio never has to climb a hill, just go down. I'd think he'd be able to talk a little easier than those of us that go out and climb 300,400, 1000 metres before enjoying the downhill

    When did you go? This past Thursday? Trails were running soooo great in Squampton. Also, you didn't show how you cleaned the climb up to Value Added :P

      +piw213 this was sometime in September, though i can't remember. Check out my Strava for details

    That was some really good control down those. Having ridden this exact route a couple weeks ago, I know these are harder than they look! I quickly realized I should of put new brake pads on as I barely had any stopping power. If you see scattered moss in the middle of In and Out burger that was my crash pad haha.

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому

      +Michael Conklin nice! I don't think that Moss provides much protection for the rock underneath

    Awesome! I'm in Squamish riding all week and using your videos to plan my rides. Cheers, Greg

    Slabs don't look super steep on the video but your tire sliding says it's steep.
    In n Out Burger in Canada? I had no idea. :D

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  6 років тому

      Most of the slabs are just steep enough to give you a scare, but you can still control your speed on them.

    1) How tall are you?
    2) What size Slash do you ride?
    3) Please can we have a bike check on the Slash?
    4) Please can we have a bike check on James' bike?
    5) Keep making sick videos
    Thanks from Northern England :)

      I'm 5 11 or 180 cm and ride the large (19.5). I'll definitely do a bike check! Also I'm sure James would be down for that as well

      +Smowling yup still in Japan! Really enjoying it! Hit up a few great riding areas and a few not so great ones. I'll be here till the end of November.

    Nice vid, and colour grade. What are your gopro settings?

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому +1

      +WNDRLST I'm basically using Jordan boost Masters settings. He's got a great video on his channel explaining gopro settings.

    How do you get your footage to look so good?

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому +2

      +Kaden Monfredi a big part of it is the grading i do in post

    • @kadenmonfredi6611
      @kadenmonfredi6611 7 років тому

      BCpov nice I can’t imagine how good your footage would look if you had a hero 6!

    • @SGMTB
      @SGMTB 7 років тому

      The issue with the Hero 6 and Hero 5 is the audio. I'm almost certain he's using a Hero 4.

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому +2

      Yes I'm using a hero 4. The form factor with the 5 and 6 don't work well with the gimbal either. Audio was bad on the 5 maybe they fixed it in the 6?
      The dynamic range of the 6 is interesting. Also the 4k at 60 fps.. but I'm not sure if you can do that in super view.

    • @kadenmonfredi6611
      @kadenmonfredi6611 7 років тому

      BCpov yes that makes sense because I was also very impressed with the audio, and I was aware about the bad audio with the hero 5. But great vids man I really enjoy them!

    Is Penthouse the trail with the crazy option line that has a rock drop into a slab?

    • @BCpov
      @BCpov  7 років тому

      +hobmarg hrmmm. I'm not sure. I can think of one spot on the trail that might have that option.
