it's really soothing to hear these great legal luminaries discussing the most important aspect of our democracy, i.e., the judiciary's independence from political influence. I am hopeful that things will change in the coming future with the fall of the current regime and its replacement by a competent political leader with good character. Until then, Bar, advocates, and judges should put pressure on the government to refrain from indulging in these malpractices.

Thanks Kapil Sir for an excellent discussion. As a citizen of India my heart bleeds to see this state of the democracy in our beautiful country which we took so much pride in. Now we are no different from any other autocratic state like Russia, North Korea and the likes. Judiciary is the only hope which can bring back our derailed democracy on track but for that we need judges of integrity and not unscrupulous judges like Gogoi, Mishra, Gangopadhyaya who deserve to be in jail for betraying the constitution of India.

Excellant discussion.Salute to learned Sr.Lawyers. Very informative particulary for those having interest in judicial system.
Over 5 crores cases are pending in courts. Lawyers oftenly resort to illegal strike. Bar has become worthless as thousands of complaints are pending in BCI since decades. Fake lawyers roam in courts, without any check. Advocate Act 1961 is not respected. Lawyers cause delay in judgements by seeking repeated adjournments. Repeated restorations are sought after dismissal of case just for harassment. All the distinguished lawyers taking part in this discussion need to look into the illustrated ills of judicial system. Being members of BCI, can play a vital role in revamping it in the largest interst of justice.

The problem in India is in practically every profession the integrity of individuals has gone down. Every decade has been a slide. So as the country makes progress in material terms we are losing our morals. Either out of greed or fear or both. The quality of the average Indian is declining. More so since 2014. These judges were never fit to sit on the chair in the first place.

*In our beautiful country India where we born & brought up* We have many good people such like *Senior Lawyer Prashant Bhushan ji* neat & clean with their minds & action, always alert and conscious against the fraud and corruption in our country India.
Whoever comes forward to help Democracy in our beautiful country India, all they have highly appreciated with millions of thanks, their outstanding services recorded in the good books of India.
Other hand, more important to find out the reasons why such fraud & Corruption took place in our Country India and its solutions.
*Punch line,* the situation around us, who will regulate the objective of good governance, in which school, teaching the Moral & Modern Education to their students, politics always stand to good governance not for earning money like commercial business.

Do you know what the most worrying part of all this? Young people who educated themselves for 20/25 years in a particular domain are jobless and here the Judges who already worked till their retirement, wants to get another job to secure their future. How come a person wants to work after their retirement? Don't have saving or retirement plan while working for 20/30 years?
So the moral of the story is people who are working for aound 20/30 doesn't have secure future after their retirement and that's the most worring part and our country's situation now. How the future generation gonna survive here?

We don't think it's security problem but a kind of malaise that infects some people. A man works after superannuation , whether a judge, a legilator, or gvt servants are traitors as Swami Vivekananda said. What security do the daily wager, ricksha walla & the so called unorganized sectors??? Are we not safer than them?.. These are power driven, money makers for their unborn kids. Particularly men supposed to be above politics, entering politics after retirement cast a shadow on their actions when in service you can't say until yesterday I was apolitical
