I’m been a Magic fan since 1989 and patience towards the growth is the main thing we need to keep improving on. Let’s get home court and first round victory before we make even more changes to this team.

Wow! Wild take on the Isaac contract. Absolutely stellar to me. IF this guy plays, he is a 30m/yr guy. And we will have him for 15. Gamble sure, but it's a good gamble, because otherwise this team is not affordable once the "big" 3 are paid. I love JI and I think most of the fanbase does. Just the young guys online that don't lol Enjoyed the video though. You guys are awesome
What they're not counting on is the future contracts coming into play the next couple of years. You have to maintain flexibility to be a player in the lotto for better options.
yea gone are the days when a player actually has to deserve/earn a elite contract case/point...the money has to be spent so you see cases where teams are over paying players(bogdanovic/anunoby) just to meet the salary cap floor but wait theres more its a two sided sword because it also makes it easier to trade for a much better player like what happend in the mikal bridges trade
Starting 5 banchero running the 1 Suggs 2 KCP 3 franz 4 Carter 5. Defensively we matchup pretty damn well with anybody. Not to mention might have the best bench in the league
Signing KCP makes WCJs 3pt ability less of a necessity with starters, maybe Goga gets more burn then. Im concerned about 2nd unit loss of Jingles, feels his playmaking/facilitation will be missed and wouldn't be surprised if we see some Mo regression without his assists. Hopefully im wrong, but i feel like they're assuming a lot of offensive development from AB if he is the backup PG for the team.
@@AlphaMelaninPlus we still technically have an open roster spot still so they could easily add another playmaker if needed (hell Fultz could be brought back if they wanted to).
@@AlphaMelanin I hope Da Silva can possibly fill some of jingles role, but we will see. It seems to me 2nd team is AB, Cole, Harris, JI, probably either Goga or Mo, unclear if DaSilva or Jett starts over any of those guys, we will see
The way I see it is if you're injured during international play, the team should be able to dock your paycheck during your recovery time. They had those stipulations when Shaq bought a motorcycle. If you decide to play international basketball you should risk your paycheck.
@@courtcousinsnba college players can play OR pros can play if it's that important to them. They're will be a few that will take the risk. It's just not fair for an NBA franchise to take the risk for players'personal reasons.
Yes, it is important to show appreciation to those who worked hard for the team. But, there is no actual upside to the roster from last year except an expensive seasoned 6th man. No center, no leading guard upgrades. I dont see how the Magic is designing its future in the league. Are they just happy enough for the 1st or 2nd round in the PO? Well, as a 20+ years Magic fan, I need more than that. Be ambitious Magic, please.

@@efrainsalasjr.6583 who’s “they”? The magic? If so, it’s exactly why they structured the deal the way they did.
Yeah you’re right. Steal of a deal if he plays. Thats just been a big IF for his career
GOOO MAGIC 💯 ❤ 💯
why is this summer league team lit asf rn
For real! Going to post something about it certainly and want your thoughts in the comments on that !

Omg I can’t believe the magic may be better then my heat this year
Magic are the favorites to win the southeast : )
Jonathan Isaac is worth it. Best defender in league

Ahhh but Banchero specifically stated he doesn’t want to be the guard bringing the ball up and initiating offense

With KCP, Harris moves to 2nd unit. Between him and Da Silva I think overall the 2nd unit will be better this year. Even if MO is less effective.

@danflan05 I'm confident Da Silva will play his way in. He's Franz 2.0 less athletic , better shooter.

That seems fair to me but then would any player risk it ?

Love the J.I. take. Definitely think we are building for a big move. Love this team. Gonna be a fun year
How can you not love the JI deal. We’re not committed for 5, it’s 3. Silly take
We ended by saying it is a good deal but still traumatized by the history
Cade Cunningham transcendent? Slow down now
Transcendent passer

I’m 37 and I could’ve went one for 17 in a game seven
Could you have averaged 20-5-4-1-.5 for a whole nba season too?

🤣😂🤣
After what he did in the playoffs, I would not have re-signed Wagner. I would’ve traded him.
Delusional
🤯
Wagner went one for a fucking 17 in a game seven and we gave him them their $50 million a year two months later that’s bullshit
It was one game. Lol
He’s getting $38 million next season not $50 million also it was 1 game… without Franz we don’t win game 3/4 in that playoff series.
Tough game but he’s got crazy potential and was our second leading scorer. Can’t let him walk
