For some reason ive been denied a tourist visa for the past 10 years. But my parents, wife, and kids all have 10 year visas. Hi Mary. Yes you're eligible for 144 hrs visa-free policy. But You have to fly from HK to Mainland China and then go to a third country/region. This means you can't return to HK. It's A (HK) to Mainlan China and to B (a third region). As for how to applying for it, you need to show your passport and a ticket with seats to a third region (not HK). Simply follow the guidance in the airport and do some paperwork there. You can enter Guangdong Province via 3 airports: Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (this one makes more sense to me as it's near Zhaoqing and not too close to HK), Shenzhen Bao'an Internaltional Airport, Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport. And you can leave for the third country via these airports and Meizhou Airport and Zhanjiang Airport as well as many other ports. Let me know if you have further questions.

@ yeah when in China, go to the exit and entry administration to apply for extension. But you gotta have a solid and reasonable reason. The extension might be a T visa.

I have confirmed this with the China embassy. Malaysians has 15 day Visa free and Singaporeans given 1 month Visa free travel to anywhere in China. So , this 144 hours Visa free transit isn’t relevant to these travellers.

I have confirmed this with the China embassy. Malaysians has 15 day Visa free and Singaporeans given 1 month Visa free travel to anywhere in China. So , this 144 hours Visa free transit isn’t relevant to these travellers.
