I have this tank and took some time to figure out how to properly tune it.. I have 2 neptune core 20s at 100%. You need to start with your valve fully open and your pump at 100% .. then slowly close it until water level is about 1/4 below the overflow.. once you achieve this you. Have now match the output of your pump. this will take several hours.. this will also tell you if you have way too much water in the sump or if you need to take water out or add. May need to adjust ato
Thanks for showing the return pump section! I have the same problem with the right extension sump without water movement. But will definitely try what others suggested with lowering the water level in the sump.
this is why I ordered mine with no bottom filtration system and just plumbed in 2 fluval fx6's to the tanks suction and discharge fittings at the bottom of the tank. pure perfection.
I recently purchased RedSea Reefer S-1000 G2. It's going through Water Cycle now, but after initial installation was done, the technician who installed it asked me to get a water reservoir so that they can hookeup the ATO. After I did, i called him to come in and install it, he wants to charge me US$180 for installation! WTF. Then he text me asking if I were planning installing Auto Dosing, Wave Maker, etc. He said it will cost me the same. The last saltwater aquarium I've had was in 1990's in Miami. and it was just a 4-footer tank. This 7-footer reefer with the sump is a totally different game. When is the right time to install the wave maker? when all livestock in place, or, ideally it goes now? what about the price? Is it any reasonable at all, or a total rip off? what about DYI, any videos? (BTW, that price is installation only, the actual ATO is already here)
You’ve got your return chamber water level too high that’s why the water is over your baffle in other chamber ;) lower your ato and take some water out of the system
@@InfiniteReef and the brackets that holds them sorry to bother you is that am trying to hang a chineese box over my 60 gallon cube and their kind of heavy
your adjustable overflow seems to at the same height as the divider wall, lower the overflow and that should solve the issue.

Exactly what I was thinking

Where would you fit an ATO and dosing jugs in here?
It seems like there’s not enough space for those things
Those seams like fine btw
Thanks for the video!
How does the stand feel. Is it pretty solid?
I heard black net cuts down on the par level in the tank
The ato part is there to fix the ato+ plug
hey mate, the water level in the sump is to high 🙂

How are you liking the Reefer G2? Any thoughts on the gate valve? I also have a 425 G2 and just trying to hear others thoughts!
If you move the skimmer to the extra compartment you’ll get a better flow .
Hello, please tell me what the cooling fans are called. which hang from above.

Do you have any reference for the level in the return chamber? Tried to follow the Redsea instruction but doesn’t seem like it’s working
@@Bluetang2000 About 6 inch deep when running
love the tank and corals how did you hang the lights
The top of the light has little screws that hold it together. Luckily the screws fit perfectly in the t-slot and hold it up

Lower the sump water level?
It's no wonder tanks fail. The sides of that stand, the return pump area, etc. are filthy. As the person said above, learn to set your water level.
I hope the sump issue is user error and not a giant design flaw. Your tank is very expensive. I know my Red Sea 350 was
Hi, what kind of cooling fan is that attached to the light? How do you like it?
Its a Vornado clip on fan. I have another video showing how its attached and what it looks like
@@InfiniteReef Thank you! I will watch that video.
yeah lower the water level in the sump
