Hi! I'm a structural fabricator with 20 years of experience. I want to learn how to detail. My employer considers me "too valuable in my current position" to train. What do I need to do to leverage my familiarity with drawings and detail to get out of the shop? This used to be common when I first got into the business. Now us guys who learned how to use computers young are stuck in the shop. (I've rolled my own Linux kernel, written programs in c++ and python, et al.)
Joy 🙌
