My euc was broken and I left it at 60% while waiting for parts. A month later I got exactly the same range as before. My point is any battery powered vehicle has the usable range 60% of advertised range and it's in ideal situation. I would say Tesla mode 3 claims to have 300 mile range, but the real range you can use daily in a charge is only 300x 40% = 120 mile. It's less than 2 hours driving. You left home at 80% so it's 240 mile range. You charge it when it's close to 20% so no lower than 60 mile. Computer range is 240-60=180. @@TomkatzEnt I got a 350watt Gear E Bike with ,2000watt Gearless DD Turbo Boost Accelerator I use to double up my cruise control to 40mph. But overall I've learned top speed is an obstacle of overall safety and hardware abuse( regular 2 inch bike tires not really used to go consistent top speed as they end up of the pressure being abused when riding over rough terrain of the roads, even turning with throttle pushed puts stress on bike tube of the inner sleeve of rim as rotation off throttle puts serious pressure on sides of tires. I know because happen to me 3 times of same area and over use of throttle,) I now ride E bike when encountering the bumps, dips, potholes , curb entry driveways the same as a Car of easing up all the time( we don't speed in cars the same way of bikes, lol) And yeah, you wipe out going 20mph and higher you best have motorcycle helmet over plastic bike cap. I only go full speed on long straightaway path of destination or to ensure power of top speed is fitted for use of pulling extra cargo weight like how I do use. You can't ride around e bike the same way you would with regular bike as we as kids rode thru anything and everything of no concern, but it was using just pedals. It's more then having e bike of going fast, it is more like knowing your e bike or scooter of high speeds creates more abuse on the parts of the e bike or scooter. For tires, anything around 2 inches width you must approach the use of speed of maintaining your bike from getting abused to avoid replacing parts on bikes as in the tires is the majority of the e bikes unless the tires are 3 to 4 inches wide which is pretty much the standard of the use. Nothing wrong if ya stuck with 2 inch tires, you jus need to Ride more cautious overall of avoiding certain times of using top speed. Stay safe and aware , all of US
Nice review, I’m considering modes of transport before I get a car and this is a good candidate. I like that it allows you to stand and sit with an attachable seat. It goes fast enough with one motor, so I might consider this scooter. Looking forward to more reviews related to this.
Bro 3000 plus for a scooter is absolutely mad it’s not a car replacement it’s a fun toy at best not practical, dependable, or safe not trying to be negative I just wish these quality ones were a third of the price
@@wrnowown never said I was actually gonna get it lol, I have my brother's bike that I need to save up for parts to fix it and then convert it into a rear or mid drive motor with a twist throttle. Only thing is I got a weekend job and saving up for that will take a few months, maybe a year or so.
@@wrnowown I agree the prices are ridiculous but I see it as being better than a car or motorcycle for parking, theft and no insurance. Nice and easy to jump on a sidewalk or the grass in heavy traffic. 60mph scooter is crazy with tiny tires but a 40mph would be enough to meet most people's needs. Just makes sure to get one with ABS brakes for rainy days.
most range claims for these types of electric vehicles are done at optimum settings... 25km/h, flat surface, no hills, light weight rider. Its just best case scenario
I’ve got 30 miles out of my solar ff 2.0 on 1 charge, I use it pretty fast too 20mph average on my app cause of cornering and stuff. In U.K. it isn’t as easy to ride
That is a great scooter, I have almost the exact same, a little less extras yet the rest is clearly the same. I have had it for close to a year now and I am still amazed how powerful it is and as importantly, it can go everywhere a car can go, and then some, down some stairs for instance hehe. I even used it this winter on ice and snow here in Norway. 60 mph though, I am not so sure about that, it may go that fast yet then you certainly will need to change tires and preferably add a steering dampener, otherwise you are going to crash as it looses stability due to wheel wobble at around 50 km/h. It may go that fast if you are light and crazy and also change to street tires and mount steering dampeners, I would not recommend it though. The fastest I have ridden it is 80 km/h. Normally I cruise comfortably at around 30 to 40 km/h.
The random cut out, my scooter does this sometimes when its near its cut out voltage and I'm on a higher mode and accelerate hard or keep it at full throttle, it must think it's dead and cuts out for safety reasons, I tend to keep it easy on accelerating when I'm near the cut out voltage, which in D6+ case is 43, my Thunder is 52 like the FF.
Yes my friend that scooter is sweet and I think you're gunna need a bigger garage very soon brother but that's not a bad problem to have and ye the scooter looks wicked at night 😀
I was gonna get the P1 Pro or R1, but I had waited many months for them to get in stock, I decide to pay £200 extra and get a Nanrobot D6+ which was last one I could find in stock in the whole of the UK due to Brexit, It's a great scooter but had a battery issue, called up and got a new one sent and fitted it. I'm gonna try and fix the other one and make it an external battery to get double the range, this looks like a beast.
This has to be one of the best e scooters in the game man and I was also pleasantly surprised it came with extra brake pads, very cool on the companies part for providing extras because clearly with the speeds and power this scooter produces those brake pads understandably wear out quick I’m sure lol Dam I want one so bad it seems so comfortable for a machine that is def not meant to be by any means lol

Nice ride, thanks for the review. The issue of speed on a bike trail needs to be discussed - here in CA the law is 'scooter' goes up to 15mph and can ride on bike trails, above that speed you need a license plate and have to stay on the road. It it goes faster than 15mph, it is considered a motor driven cycle and you must get a license plate, have an M1 motorcycle stamp on license, and you have to ride on the road. Stay safe!
@@dazzlingdexter5060 I wish I knew what to tell you. My comment was in response to seeing this video of the rider taking hiking trails and sidewalks at high speed - anyone else on that trail is in a precarious position and the scooter should not be going that fast and should not be on those trails. Road is fine. Best to ask your DMV. As far as I can tell, anything over 15mph is like a motorcycle and you need a plate and probably insurance. These high speed scooters are fairly new and we are likely to see this issue come up more often.

Range estimates are generally inflated due to low speeds and ideal conditions. Real world you can expect 40-70% of the claimed range depending on rider weight, speed, environmental conditions, and battery cell quality.
Its good to see you start out with some good, strong safety wear from the get go. I have seen a few vids of late and they say they are wearing minimal clothing to get better performance in a test which does not give the right msg to the younger newby.

I came upon an accident that involved an E-scooter and a pickup truck a couple of weeks ago. The pickup was leaving an apartment complex and the young guy on the E-scooter was coming down the sidewalk and apparently crashed trying to avoid the pickup truck. The scooter guy slammed his head into the curb of the driveway where it flares to meet the street. He was unconscious and had a huge bloody lump above his right eye. No helmet. By the size of the egg shaped lump on his skull he looked to be in a bad way. I flagged down a car and they called 911 and luckily a nurse stopped and help lend her expertise to make sure no one moved him. I have no idea how this poor guy ended up but hopefully he is okay. With those little wheels they sure are dangerous.
In California legal top speed is still 28mph in the bike lane for unregistered vehicles. What will happen is they'll increase the speed limit to accommodate the tech. Or make everybody get registered/insured with tags at lower cost. Depending on how many people are killed in Ebike accidents over this Decade. Always wear a helmet.
I normaly expect my peers on the bike lane to run slower than 35 km/h, thats why bike lanes are separated from car lanes: you do not want to be hit by someone running really fast.
20:40 5000W @ nominally 60v means it is drawing about 83 Amps on full. In practice there are losses, so a good guess might be 75A….That is enough to cook wiring and speed controllers, I mean, the scooter must be rated for it, but just sayin’ prolonged full power is not the best thing for longevity huh!
Yea after I came across this brand, Solar, and watching ur videos of the Solar FF & also the Solar P1 2.0 I'm definitely gonna b looking at buying the P1 2.0 before summer next year to upgrade from my budget e scooter (Aovo Pro) because I need more speed now 🤣🛴💨 and really cud do with an e scooter with suspension too as there's just so many potholes on some UK roads. Plus, from what I've seen about Solar they are a really good e scooter company with great customer service and their stuff is really good quality. Can't wait to get 1 now. 🤘🏼😜👍🏼
i would verify that speedometer is accurate. a lot of scooters like this show you going faster then the they actually are. its a marketing gimmick. iv seen some scooters off by 15 kmh. mostly these cheap Chinese scooters as they want to think you got a high performance scooter. do the same run with a reputable phone gps app to get your true top speed
My electric Wheelchair does the same with the display on how much power is left. I'll be out for 5 or 6 hours, when the 4 lights change to 3, but then really quick it goes down to 2, then 1, the code red.
I wish these were around 15-20 years ago when I was younger. Me and a buddy used to ride our 49cc gas scooters everywhere and constantly got fucked up by cops
Wouldn't the range depend on the load weight as well? The heavier the passenger, the lower the range... I'd bet they do ranges on a dynamometer with little to no weight on it.
Aircooled controller will definitely short change your riding experience if its being rode hard enough to push internal temps up to emergency cut-off range. FYI you as an e-bike or scooter are not considered a pedestrian at crosswalks unless your local regulations say otherwise, primary users (car) has priority. Where I am bikes & e-bikes don't have to stop at signs anymore but don't have right of way over cars and aren't legally considered a pedestrian either.
I am wondering the brand of batteries used in this particular model. I am aware of this particular scooter under the name Yume X11 where their 30Ah models use generic brand cells while their 35Ah ones use Panasonic cells. That battery sag even with dual motors is way too big and the range is too short for 1800wh even with 5k watt motors (likely peak power). I also checked the link in the description and Solar didn't indicate the brand of cells used just indicating that it has 30Ah which I'm gonna assume they are using generic cells which are usually inferior to branded ones like LG, Panasonic, and Samsung. Also they didnt specify the wattage of the motors are nominal or peak of which marketing wise the peak performance is usually mentioned. The Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 with similar specs and battery capacities (2X1200w nominal to 2X2700w peak, 60v 35Ah LG or Samsung cells, 11inch street/off road tires) can reach the 30 mile range even going ham on it. but around 15 miles? That doesn't seem right at all.
That seems a little crazy. I have the inokim oxo which is a much smaller battery at 60v26ah and yes it only goes 40MPH but I still push it fast and get at the minimum of 25 miles.

at 20 mph i bit it after over 1000 miles on scooter from a quick front tire pop up and dropping it with handle bars still angled. worst wipeout of all sports and life for me. rib and wrist ouch! knee , knuckle, shoulder , temple, chin. everytime i bump into something new ouch. gear up.
Bro u might as well just get Honda Ruckus
@@PyricDemon highly recommend an e-bike, I've been using mine for around two years now and I believe it is the future of alternative transport.
Congratulations on the 200k subscribers!!! You deserve it!!! Thanks for all the entertaining content!!!
Thanks, Eli! 🙌🏽
great review i am on the couch up in toronto feb 3rd 7 below with snow so vicariously enjoying the ride . cheers .
most range claims for these types of electric vehicles are done at optimum settings...
Thank you for being one of the few to wear proper protection. Bugs the hell out of me when people don’t.
Tires are called “all-terrain”.
Perfect realistic review! You do better work with every new post. I wish you every success.
Appreciate that a ton, Mark! Thanks!
Good to know!
i own an FF 2.0 myself and it's a lot of fun using it to get to work also get a second look from people when they see me going past them at 50 mph xD
Break means busted. I think you mean "Brake pads"
@@bmwloco Lol obviously since I kept typing “pads” after break right????, so yes I think I meant “brake” pads too. It’s because Of the auto correct on my phone, you wasted a min of your life to reply something so obvious? You sound way dumber correcting me than me putting break instead of brake 😩😂🙈 I corrected it for ya 😉
Not even close, this is a generic Chinese scooter
@@danny-FL nope they’re made in the uk
@@nickpapagiorgio5056 The Solar R1 for example is a VDM-10 that's made in China and around 6 other big brands also use that design. The Solar FF is a redesigned Zero 11x and also looks like the Nanrobot d7.
If it does bother you the voltage drop I’d get something you don’t mind going at lower than certain or max speeds most of the time so you can keep the speed you want longer.
It feels so weird to watch this because these type of vehicles are super illegal where i live. 😀
There super illegal everywhere
Why are they illegal?
@@biga8230 depending on your local laws, it may require an M1 equivalent license and possibly insurance and follow DOT standards. For what they are, they are easier to buy than a normal motorcycle or motorscooter
They are illegal in the UK unless you rent one, then you’re free to run around on them all day. It’s funny how a bit of cash in the right pocket works.
@@biga8230 The speed is way to high, I want to say scooters have a max of 20mph. and this is triple. but you have to get caught. LOL
Stay safe!
I am debating getting one of these. Will I really need a liscense plate? does that mean I can get pulled over for it?
@@dazzlingdexter5060 I wish I knew what to tell you. My comment was in response to seeing this video of the rider taking hiking trails and sidewalks at high speed - anyone else on that trail is in a precarious position and the scooter should not be going that fast and should not be on those trails. Road is fine. Best to ask your DMV. As far as I can tell, anything over 15mph is like a motorcycle and you need a plate and probably insurance. These high speed scooters are fairly new and we are likely to see this issue come up more often.
Commiefornians are welcome to stay in your own state with your poorly conceived legislation.
@everyday tenor There’s insurance for that. Believe it or not is very cheap. Much cheaper than car insurance. Reported for misinformation.
@@dhenschel4 Commiefornians do not leave your state. We the sane minded of the other 49 do not want you in our states until you can solve your legislation enacted problems.
Hey those UK plugs are awesome, you should try stepping on one with the pins sicking up, now that’s painful lol
That's like a Hellcat in a scooter. Would be interesting to put that set up on the beefier scooter you just tested with the bigger frame and tires. 60 on that thing is insane. I bet it scared the crap outa you at first. Better armor up next time just in case at those kinds of speeds👍🤣
Not quite. Look up Rion's scooters. 75-80MPH. Carbon Fiber body so it weighs less than 70lb. It's INSANE but over $8k LOL
I purchased the 5600 watt 60V 38AH dual motor scooter. I get over 30 miles @about 25 MPH running full power and both motors.
Fantastic speeds but I would feel safer sitting down on that seat! MAN! That was fast! For a Scooter!Excellent review Dude!
Thanks, Roger!
Scooters are designed for stand up riding, the seat would make it feel awkward
Lol you obviously haven't ridden a power scooter. You don't wanna sit down on these on dual motor. It pulls to hard and you sitting back is a very unnerving feeling. Then theres the issues of road irregularities that will you bounce you around and make the scooter get squirrelly. ITS fine for cruising at low lower speeds but that's boring
@@keronfarrier2198 I was sitting down the entire time maxing it out and it felt fine
@@TheInja Well that scooter must have superb suspension because the general consensus among alot of you bigger youtuber like you is ditch the seat..

Will do!
Nice lil scooter for local/city commuting. Tons of e-bikes available for urban commuting/more versatility at a better price point, imo.
$3700, you are lightweight and you only get 15 mile range? You give them too much credit. You were not going full speed the whole time. I think that is a waste of money and shouldn’t promote it as an awesome scooter. It’s been a year since you made this so… thanks may have changed. On the creator side, great video ✊🏼
The reason why the screen is flashing: The screen refresh rate is most likely 1hz and only the camera detects that 1our eyes just see it as a normal screen. :)
I can't imagine what his electric bill must be every month if he keeps all that stuff charged lol Also, really enjoy listening to him not curse, those work arounds are priceless!

Smart Car ED is rated 80 miles, I get 55 miles the real world driving way! LOL
It seems that the sense of stability at high speed is good.

nah just tell them he's the inja, throw a smoke bomb down and then speed off
Range estimates are generally inflated due to low speeds and ideal conditions. Real world you can expect 40-70% of the claimed range depending on rider weight, speed, environmental conditions, and battery cell quality.
With them scooters you 100% do not want to be using the seat when going over 25-30mph
Awesome man! That is crazy fast and at a really good price too.
Its good to see you start out with some good, strong safety wear from the get go.
I have seen a few vids of late and they say they are wearing minimal clothing to get better performance in a test which does not give the right msg to the younger newby.
I'm sold you had me over 40 mph I want one.

Hello inja if in full mode like a car or any vehicles if ya hold the gas peddle down there goes what ever fuel or battery you have hello from Canada .
I have a zhumamotu Navagator for 3 years i love it .
Regarding the range, I appreciate you going all out, but could you also include a more conservative riding style too. It would be interesting to see if you can get close to the 50 mile claimed range.
You can set the speed and acceleration on the dashboard program it to accelerate a bit faster
Problem is, at 60mph you can't easily spot pot holes, and with those small wheels you will basically die if you hit one.
when driving downhill. from the top with the scooter do not hold the gas in allows the running atuomasik to accelerate at 80 km per hour
Raise the seat and it'll be more comfortable and almost as high as if you're standing.
Have you reviewed Suru Cycles? Are they still in business? Please let me know.
The price is right! I'm definitely looking into buying out
You can add or make a solar powered charge system.
Solar FF. The FF stands for F*uckin Fast!
I wish these were around 15-20 years ago when I was younger. Me and a buddy used to ride our 49cc gas scooters everywhere and constantly got fucked up by cops
You also get a quieter and smoother ride switching to street tires.
Who in their right mind would want to do 60 mph on that.
Only crazy people
Dudes gold smart car in the background looks like the type of shit id make in GTA5 online for ABSOLUELY NO apparent reason
Filming your self passing a 45MPH sign doing a lot more... this scooter is will get someone a speeding ticket one day!
21:00 That light seems useless at high speeds so I hope you have another light similar to a Cygo Ranger that throws a 1400 lumen wide beam pattern
The 50 range is down hill with the power off . all electric vehicles come with fully charged optimism .
Lol!
Wouldn't the range depend on the load weight as well? The heavier the passenger, the lower the range... I'd bet they do ranges on a dynamometer with little to no weight on it.
Definitely!!
0:36 "pop" and we see mr inja standing, good transition editing there.
Who would have thought the benefits of the handy-cap measures put in to law decades ago. Electric vehicle have an easier time getting around.
That sucks that at top speed you can only get 15 miles. I sure everyone wants to ride at the top speed anyway!
They're great for people who have a suspended license too. You don't need a license to use these.
Your garage collection is unique.
When are you going to switch over to MPH?
Solar isn’t a power source but a charging source. A solar (sun) charged scooter would still run off of batteries
Yep
This is the coolest thing ive ever seen
Hey bud I know you're busy but could you by chance link me to the camera a helmet mount you use? I love your content btw, thanks again!
