I have been there in the past Lucille, we went via the train while we was staying with Friends who live in Nice 😋 We just had a snack at an outlet next to the Harbour, so much cheaper 😋 It really is Pretty as your video shows, for myself the best part was walking around the roads and places featured in the Monaco GP,so Fascinating 😋

A crazy story about Monaco are the illegitimate children of prince Albert II. By law an illegitimate son does not ascend to the thrown, otherwise the monarchy would have had a strange change in character. I see now that Monaco only has princes and not kings due to a treaty with France.
That's strange because Lucile you don't tell that most people that have a normal salary don't live in Monaco but in France with normal rent. In Monaco you have to be rich or monegasque to live there. But France is 2km away from the center of the city so it is so easy to live outside and to work there
The old city is beautiful but most of Monaco is filled with charmless 1970s apartment buildings. It's fun to visit but just over the border in France are much prettier places to see.
That‘s the trick. Allow people to earn their money all over the world and don‘t pay their due taxes there but comparatively small amounts at your „country“. I‘d offer that for my house, every company in the world could have a letterbox here and pay just 0.001% of taxes. Unfortunately, other countries would not accept it, and I really wonder why european countries play this game of tax haevens with Monaco, Liechtenstein and many other places that could never survive if they could not snatch the profits earned in real countries who also have to provide infrastructure. . Earning your money in France, you should pay your taxes in France.

Yes! It’s a bit more complex but a very interesting thing to research! Look into tax havens/ international taxation!
